This trip met all my expectations; I had the opportunity to see the landscape, a night excursion, a boat ride exploring the wonders of this reserve, as well as fishing, food, and the guide's experience made this trip unforgettable for me.

Hello! I am Celia, and I only have good words for this company and the people who are part of it. It has been, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of my life. I have traveled alone and chose the 3-day tour, and everything went perfectly. Both the guide and the boat driver were super pleasant and attentive to everything at all times. Roger, my guide, was truly incredible. It is evident that he has a wealth of experience and knowledge about all kinds of animals and the jungle. He pushed us to our limits many times, but always respecting our decisions and how far each of us felt capable of going. I can only say good things about this experience. This is not the typical tour where you simply see the jungle; here you truly live it. You immerse yourself in it, walk, camp, and feel part of everything. You are one of them. Moreover, you learn a great deal throughout the journey. Thank you for everything! I hope to repeat this experience in the future.

The trip with Ruth's agency was absolutely fantastic!! The service was completely professional and comprehensive! If anyone wants to experience a wild adventure and connect with nature, I highly recommend her! Ruth is a wonderful, warm person! She's helpful in every way and excellent at organizing trips. The guides, Franco and Alex, are very dedicated to their work and very responsible for the tourists they take on the trip. Wonderful experience! Going to Pacaya Samiria Reserve with Ruth has been fantastic!!! A woman who gives her heart to her customers, very attentive and especially close and helpful, it is certainly grateful to find someone like that when you travel! The tour of 3 days and 2 nights we have done with Roger , our guide, now it is clear to me what is vocation, a person who knows the jungle, its flora and fauna to the maximum, helpful, attentive and above all tries 100% to make us leave happy, we have seen all kinds of birds, monkeys, alligator, snake , pink dolphins, explains everything in detail! And of course I can not fail to name Rony, our boat skipper and cook, was all delicious and super punctual, another lovely person, friendly and very polite!! We have laughed a lot, talked a lot and told us Amazonian stories hahahajja. I would definitely repeat to look for the Jaguar ahajja. It's been quite a pleasure, from Ruth the Chief to Roger and Rony. How nice to travel and do these tours and find people like that!!! My fiancé and I took the 3 day tour. It was bear grills-ish at times but that's what made it amazing. Our guide Frank was awesome, very knowledgeable and a lot of experience for his age. We saw a lot of animals for a 3 day trip in March, but can’t wait to go back in the summer to see more!

Our experience in the Amazon was absolutely incredible, and much of it is due to Roger and Ruth. Roger is not just any guide: he is a person who knows the jungle by heart, as if it were his own home. It moves within it with breathtaking naturalness, enters and exits without difficulty, without artificial tricks or experiences. Everything is authentic, real and deeply respectful of the jungle. Thanks to their knowledge, we were able to observe animals in their natural habitat and learn to “read” the jungle: the sounds, the footprints and the rhythms. Nothing was forced; everything happened naturally. In addition, Roger is a very friendly, patient and close person, always attentive to the group, flexible and willing to share his experience with passion and humility. We would also like to sincerely thank Ruth, the owner of the agency, for her excellent organization and professionalism from the very beginning. Everything was very well coordinated, and you can clearly see the respect you have for the jungle and for the people who work with it. This was not just another sightseeing excursion, but a real dive into the Amazon, human and deep, guided by authentic people. We recommend Ruth Amazon Expeditions without a doubt.

We did a 3-day trip with Eli and Roman. Eli was our guide and took good care of us, including our meals (breakfast, lunch, and diner) and daily needs in the jungle. He was very responsible and made sure we stayed safe throughout the trip. Also, the meal was very delicious, we could not expect more in such a harsh living condition. Roman was our skipper and truly a master of the jungle. He knew how to spot wildlife, navigate different rivers, and kept the trip fun with his great sense of humor. Ruth was very responsive and accommodating. She handled our pick-up and drop-off smoothly and did a great job coordinating the logistics. This tour is definitely for travelers who aren’t into touristy experiences, as the expedition goes deep into the heart of the Amazon. Everything is challenging, but you get an authentic sense of how local people live and survive in the jungle. We did many day and night hikes in search of wildlife. Highlights included searching for caimans at night and fishing for piranhas. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any sloths—but that in itself felt like a lesson. Wanting something too much can sometimes lead in the opposite direction. In the jungle, it’s best to take things as they come, stay relaxed, and let serendipity find you. In general, we spent a very unforgettable and good Christmas with Eli and Roman. Be mindful that bringing thick long pants (no Lululemon) and long-sleeved jacket, because the mosquitos are crazy and they were ‘eating’ us. Our hands and legs were swollen after the first walk. Facial mask can also be helpful to keep them biting your face.
