We had the best time with Steven, so funny and friendly making everyone feel welcome and helping everyone at all times. Only suggestion would be it would be great if each individual was able to mix, batter etc in their own bowl rather than sharing between two. That being said great class
The waffles were light and delicious. Fun toppings. The beer samples were endless. Nice assortment of beers to sample.
This is a fun experience, our presenter Stefan was friendly, quirky and very knowledgeable. Well worthwhile.
It was a lot of fun, the beer and waffles were great and the instructor was really nice. We took waffles and the recipe with us, which was great.
Such a great experience. Bret (I hope I got his name correct), was an amazing a fun host. Nice, great energy, very knowledgeable and funny. I enjoyed the beer choices very much and I’m not a beer drinker. This experience was worth the price.
Super nice city! Hospitality in abundance. What is striking is that there are people working at a lot of restaurants who don't get it. Delivery to the table in parts, no inquiries after clearing, is not asked for extra drink etc etc. This was mainly on and around the market. Point for improvement I would say!
This was really the most fun thing we did during our weekend Bruges! Thanks to our enthusiastic guide (I forgot his name unfortunately 😅) we learned all about different beers and of course we were allowed to taste a few. Then we made the batter for the waffles with our favorite beer. The waffles were delicious! You could decorate them yourself and eat as much as you wanted. Highly recommended!
It was a lot of fun, our guide was very easy to follow and we got to try several different delicious beers.
I did this experience with my wife and 14 year old son. We all thought it was amazing. We have recently begun taking cooking classes on Viator when we travel, and I thought this was amongst the best I have participated in. You begin with a nice tasting of Belgian beers. Dad happy! Then you make belgian waffles. Mom happy! And my son enjoyed it as well. I took pictures and ate the waffles. So delicious! Our instructor was excellent and very personable. There was a group of young Dutch women also, and they mainly conversed in dutch, but I thought he did a nice job in interpreting what they asked and his response. Unnecessary, but went the extra mile.
We had a great time making waffles! The four of us ended up in a small class of only 7 people total. Our host had interesting stories about the beer we sampled and explained the different types of waffles. This class was recommended to us by friends who had lived in the Netherlands and taken the class before.
