My husband, 10 year old daughter, and I had a great time making our own stroopwafel! Vasco and Talia explained everything very well and were super friendly! This was the highlight of my daughter’s time in Amsterdam! I loved that it was located in Albert Cuyp Markt.
This class was so much fun! My instructor Álvaro was lively and he made sure everyone was accommodated. The class was quick, easy and the stroopwafels came out delicious! If you’re in Amsterdam and wondering what do, take this class. It’s a quick class and it’s right on Albert Cuypstraat so you can go to the market right after!
A Must-Do Experience!! The Stroopwafel Workshop was one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam. We came in expecting to make a simple dessert, but we left with a fun memory, a new appreciation for Dutch culture, and some incredible homemade stroopwafels! The experience was the perfect mix of history, hands-on learning, and delicious food. We learned about the tradition behind stroopwafels, got to make our own using traditional techniques, and enjoyed them fresh while they were still warm and filled with caramel. The staff made the experience even better. They were friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and did a great job making everyone feel involved, regardless of whether you had any baking experience. It was fun for couples, families, solo travelers, and anyone looking for something beyond the typical tourist activities. Located right at the famous Albert Cuyp Market, it was also a great addition to exploring one of Amsterdam’s most vibrant neighborhoods. If you are visiting Amsterdam and looking for an activity that is memorable, unique, and truly Dutch, this should absolutely be on your list. Don’t just buy a stroopwafel, learn how they are made, create your own, and make a memory you can eat you’ll talk about long after your trip is over! Highly recommend!
Great fun in making stroopwafles by ourselves. Our instructors Nicola and Julia are nice and attentive. The instructions were clear and there weren't any difficulties in making our first stroopwafles.
This was so much fun. We made the waffle batter and then cooked and decorated our stroopwaffles. Recipe included!
Very fun experience!! Instructions from teacher were very easy to understand. We each made 2 Stroopwaffles in the class.
