This was such a great tour! Daniel was knowledgeable and a great guide! He gave us lots of amazing facts, showed us incredible views and made us feel so welcome on the tour. By the end it felt like we were all on vacation together!! 10/10 could not recommend more!

Wonderful Tour Around São Miguel We had a fantastic experience exploring São Miguel with Sergio. From start to finish, the day was well organised, relaxed, and full of interesting sights and local history. Sergio was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating, making sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop and take in the beautiful scenery. We saw so much of the island, from its stunning volcanic landscapes and viewpoints to charming towns and hidden gems that we might never have discovered on our own. What really made the tour special was Sergio’s enthusiasm and genuine love for São Miguel. He shared fascinating stories and local insights along the way, which made the experience feel personal rather than simply being a sightseeing trip. I highly recommend this tour!!

Eduardo is an amazing guide and I would call our tour “Backroads with Eduardo.” That’s exactly what we did, we drove on backroads to take in the full, beautiful nature that Sao Miguel offers. He was knowledgeable about the area and a genuinely kind person. We learned about the blue and green Lagoons, small villages all the while having conversation about our favorite foods and the history of the Azores. Excellent tour, request Eduardo. He won’t disappoint!

Everyone in the family enjoyed driving around the Azores’ beautiful landscape, and our amazing and friendly guide Daniel enthusiastically shared interesting facts about the island. We briefly visited a hot spring where we were able to relax in the soothing water, and then meandered around scenic town in the centre of a caldera, ending with a short drive up the volcano/mountain to look upon the landscape. Everyone enjoyed, and we were fascinated by Daniel’s extensive knowledge of the island, including exciting different theories about when the Azores were first discovered. Furthermore, who doesn’t like driving around in a Land Rover?

Fantastic half day tour! Our guide Daniel was fantastic: very knowledgeable and friendly, taking us to some great views and telling us some fun trivia. The site itself is absolutely stunning and the history very interesting!

Nuno was great! A 1/2 day-tour was perfect for us. We got to see Sete Cidades and visit the village, while Nuno shared some interesting history and stories about the island. The Jeep was clean, comfortable, and the ride was smooth. We really enjoyed the experience.

After thoroughly researching Saõ Miguel and coming up with a multitude of things we wanted to see, we decided to book a half day tour with Greenzone Tours. We were extremely lucky to have Daniel as our tour guide. Daniel offered us the opportunity to see sights and experiences we had not uncovered in our research. We started the tour off with swimming in a hot spring in the ocean that previously we had not been aware of. Daniel was funny, engaging, and knowledgeable. His passion and understanding of the island was very appreciated and greatly enhanced our experience. He gave us many other recommendations that we hadn’t heard of that made the rest of our visit to the Azores even more incredible, and far exceeded our expectations.

We had an excellent tour with our guide Ricardo! He was so knowledgeable about the island and continuously monitored the weather so that we were able to see all locations clearly. He was also very flexible in accommodating us in addition to a family that was on the tour with us, ensuring we were all getting the best experience. Ricardo was so personable and we enjoyed hearing all about the island and its history on the tour. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the island.
