Everything was very nice, the tour lasted more than 4 hours, we saw dolphins and we even managed to see whales. If you get seasick, don't do it; half the people on board kept vomiting. However, they also offer medication if necessary. I recommend it

Departure from Bentota at 4:45 organized by get your guides. €96 for 2 people.. That is the price to be driven there and brought back to the hotel. Upon arrival, they demand 17000 rupees from us for the excursion, which was not mentioned. A few dolphins, some porpoises, no whales, a boat captain very brutal with course changes. 2/3 of the boat vomited... On the way back, a very rushed visit to Galle. They take us to a tourist restaurant. Then 5000 rupees to take 1 photo of fishermen, then snorkeling on a beach full of trash and murky water where you can't see anything for 5000 rupees. Mask used 1 minute 4000 rupees returned. Very disappointing day, unlike the very rich visit to Kandy. Everything is a pretext to take money from tourists. We strongly advise against get your guides for this activity. Prefer the train and a tuk-tuk, no bad surprises.

The experience was suppose to be 3 or 4 hours but we only spend 1 hour and half. The breakfast was really poor also. It was expensive for that experience.

The actual time at sea depends on where the whales are located and the instructions given by the authorities. As a licensed operator working in cooperation with the government, we strictly follow all government regulations and whale-watching guidelines. For the safety of the whales and passengers, we cannot remain in the whale-watching area longer than permitted, even if we would like to. We hope you were able to enjoy seeing the whales. We understand that the value of the experience is personal and may differ from one guest to another. Regarding the breakfast, we sincerely apologize that it did not meet your expectations. It was a very fun experience. I was able to see both dolphins and a fin whale which was a new experience for me. They made sure that everyone was able to see the animals before moving on, making it a good value thing. The environment was very nice and scenic with a nice breeze. The place is a memorable one and the crowd was a balanced amount. The staff were very friendly and informative and the trip was the best for seeing these sea animals. It was about 3 hours but it was worth it.
