This review is late, but we still remember what a fantastic experience our morning whale watching tour was. We parked at the lot and were met and escorted to the harbor by the boat crew. We had two great guys, whose names I've forgotten. It was wonderful to be able to sail out of Lahaina Harbor which was one of the reasons we chose this tour. The sea was calm, the day beautiful. Right off the bat we had a mother and baby off the side and then their "escort" came right under the boat. There were other sightings, but those were the best. The education we were given was straightforward and interesting. I like that we had a small group. The highlight for me was when things had been a bit quiet and there were no other boats in the area they put a hydrophone down and the sound of the whales was magical, primordial and utterly memorable. I'd definitely recommend Sail Maui and would book them again if I ever get a chance.

Excursion was excellent. The boat captain and her assistant were very knowledgeable and informative. They were able to answer all questions regarding the whales.

My sister and I loved our Morning Whale Watch. We have not been able to sail out of Lahaina Harbor before and we were happy to see that the harbor was back open. We saw lots of whales and quite a few whales breaching near the boat! The guides were very informative and happy to answer any questions. This is our second time sailing with Sail Maui and we will definitely sail with them again.

Had an amazing experience. The catamaran was so much fun and so relaxing. We were able to see several whales which was truly amazing to see up close. The Captain and crew were so great. This was one of the highlights of our Maui vacation. Loved being able to support the businesses in Lahaina. Would highly recommend this excursion.

Great crew! Everyone was able to see the whales from the boat because they didn’t crowd the boat with customers. Loved the whole experience!

The staff were very informative and accommodating! Jen’s knowledge of whales answered all our questions. The captain moved the boat as whales moved about the ocean. So fun!!!!

The staff was so warm and welcoming. Jen met us in the parking lot and guided us to and from the boat. Two captains were on board and led us to view whales in several places. Drink orders were delivered by Jen and always with a smile. She also dropped the microphone down so that we could actually hear the whales which was WONDERFUL! I’ve never experienced that on any other whale watching tour and I’ve been on at least five!

WOW! Just Wow! This has been the highlight of our trip to Maui. 2 hours on the beautiful ocean with two knowledgeable sailors. A perfect amount of time to see the beauty of both whales and the views! Our family included 2 children under 5, two millennials, 2 Grandmas and a Gramps. We all had a blast. Our kind and experienced sailors, Ciro and Mica, knew just where to go and were quick to point out spots to watch. We saw Whales! The excitement started with seeing whales come to the surface, often elegantly diving again sharing a flip from their tales as they went. But Mica shared a little secret about whales and their curiosity, getting us all involved in seducing whales to come visit. I don’t know that everyone gets this amazing show but we had 2-3 whales come up to the boat, rolling over to give us close up views all around. It was thrilling! Mahalo Sail Maui!
