Óbidos situa-se em plena região Oeste. Entre a serra e o mar é um dos locais mais procurados do Centro de Portugal e hoje sugerimos tudo o que pode visitar em Óbidos. De origem romana, a vila de Óbidos deriva do latim opiddum, que significa “cidade fortificada”. Posteriormente ocupada por povos visigodos e muçulmanos, foi reconquistada pelo primeiro Rei de Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques, em 1148. As suas muralhas revelam ainda algumas marcas dos antigos povos que aqui se estabeleceram, bem no alto da colina, onde se avista de um lado, a lagoa de Óbidos e do outro o Aqueduto da Usseira. A rua direita de Óbidos leva-nos da Porta da Vila ao Castelo. Os edifícios que vamos encontrando preservam a identidade de Óbidos, considerada uma das vilas medievais melhor conservadas do Mundo. As diferentes cores das casas na Vila de Óbidos são o amarelo, azul, vermelho e cinzento. É aqui que tudo acontece. E é por aqui que sugerimos que comece a descobrir os encantos desta vila.
A Nazaré é um lugar muito especial, onde a tradição e a modernidade se aliam e apaixonam quem a visita. Localizada no litoral centro de Portugal, a 100 km a norte de Lisboa e a 230 km a sul do Porto, com excelentes acessibilidades, bom clima e povo hospitaleiro, a Nazaré tem tudo para umas férias memoráveis. É igualmente um bom lugar para viver, se estabelecer e desenvolver atividades económicas, especialmente ligadas ao mar. O Farol da Nazaré é um farol português que se localiza no Forte de São Miguel Arcanjo, Nazaré, região Oeste. Trata-se de uma lanterna redonda, vermelho vivo, de ferro, com varandim de serviço, montada na parede do forte. A luz está dois segundos ligada e um segundo desligada.

Van was comfortable and travel was easy, however, felt like we paid for travel. There was not much involvement from guide after drop off at towns.

Wow, wow, wow…what a delightful experience! Like I time-traveled back to the 8th century of medieval times. Our tour guide John is phenomenal. Excellent pre-trip communication. Navasali is an excellent guide and driver, he explained to my wife and I some history about Obidos, and in Nazare he was very helpful, in recommending a good restaurant where we eat delicious food. We were very happy with Navasali's guide. Thank you!

This tour to Nazaré and Óbidos exceeded all expectations. Our guide, John (João), was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable. It ended up being just my partner and me, which made it feel like a private tour—he customized the day to our pace and interests, which made a huge difference. Both Nazaré and Óbidos were absolutely stunning, each with its own charm and beauty. The only minor downside was missing the season for the famous 100-foot waves in Nazaré—but honestly, everything else about the day more than made up for it. If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate. It was everything we hoped for and more.

What a magnificent experience.. the quaint and medieval town of Obidos… and the vibrant Nazare (no big waves.. but both definitely worth a visit. Thank you John.. for being such a superb guide. Knowledgeable, helpful (thanks for directing us to a superb seafood venue for lunch) and wonderful transport ( clean, comfortable mini van) including water refreshments.
