Jerry was our guide and he was so insightful and kind. We appreciated all the insights and humor that can go with the history we learned. Such a great tour and would recommend to everyone!
The experience with our tour guide was enriching and touching. She was charming and very knowledgeable. It was fun…
Great way to see Philly historical spots. You will need to buy or save spots for some historical places in advance through the National Parks Department.
There is a good deal of walking so be prepared. Depending on the weather pack sunscreen, raingear, hat.
Nice tour, lots of walking. You do not go into the sites, only talk history outside of them. Charlotte was a good guide.
Thanks for your review! Glad you enjoyed the tour with Charlotte. The tour is meant to be be an overview/orientation and then we suggest that you go back and visit the inside of any sites you wish, as everything is within a few blocks radius!
Great way to see history, hear stories about key people snd places. Super knowledgeable guide, fun morning.
Katie was my guide for this comprehensive tour of that part of Philadelphia where the country that we live in pretty much got put together. The rain was light when the tour started for a group that included a family of four plus me. As we walked, the rain intensified, but none of it seem to bother Katie. The family had two girls who varied between paying attention or splashing in the rain as kids will do, but Katie did a really good job bet trying to reach the kids, which is something that I don't think I do very well when I guide tours. I could learn a few things from her. But then, I did learn way more than a few things from her. She had her facts down cold on a chilly, rainy day, snd everything that she gave us came with a smile and a strong voice. I would recommend the Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia for anyone who wants a detailed introduction to the many historic sites in downtown Philadelphia. If all their guides are as good as Katie, you'll be in very good hands -- or shoes. (This is a walking tour, after all.)
Our guide Katy was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions!
My guide was very knowledgeable, kind, and considerate, and took the time to patiently answer questions along the way. In the end, he danced with one of the visitors, and it was a joy for all of us to watch!!
My daughter and I went on the walking tour to celebrate Mother’s Day. Van was our tour guide and she gave an excellent presentation. She was very informative and was able to answer all the questions from the guests. She has a bubbly personality which made everyone in the group very comfortable. The length of the tour is just perfect as an introduction about the history of Philadelphia. We had a small crowd on our tour which made asking questions very easy.
