Great experience. Isa is very knowledgeable and friendly. Loved learning about the city while getting some exercise and beating the crowds. She was also very good about keeping a pace that worked for my fitness level and minor injuries.

Our running tour with Isabella was absolutely perfect. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly accommodating, adapting effortlessly to our pace and adjusting the starting location when we had to change accommodations at the last minute. The tour was fascinating, and Isabella answered my many, many questions with thoughtful, in-depth responses. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of Rome made the whole experience a pleasure. I cannot recommend her highly enough. This is the best way to see Rome!

What a fantastic way to learn more about the historical layers of Rome! Isabella helped us better understand the historical significance of places and objects we had passed by, but had not really noticed. Highly recommend!!

This was such an amazing way to see some of Rome’s history in a short amount of time! Isabella was incredible and so knowledgeable, it was so fun to learn from her and to see the city at such a beautiful (and less crowded) time of day! I couldn’t recommend this more!

Fantastic early morning (6.30am to beat the heat!) running tour today with Isabella aka @archeorunning, who showed me lots of hidden sights and history around the beautiful backstreets and secret corners of Rome. Amazing to see Rome without the crowds and have such a knowledgeable and engaging guide to show me parts of the city I’d never seen before. Isabella is a qualified tour guide, an archaeologist and also has a PhD in Art History, as well as being a marathon runner and triathlete! I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and companion for our hour together exploring my favourite city. Can’t recommend her tours enough if you’re ever in Rome!

We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Rome! Our entire family including my 3 tween/teen daughters were fascinated by Isabella's expertise about the wonders of the city. She was an incredible guide and it was so amazing to run through the city as it was waking up. I wholeheartedly recommend Isabella and this tour. It was a highlight for us!

We would highly recommend a running/walking tour with Isa. I was travelling with my teenage daughter & her friend. Isa planned and tailored a tour around our individual requests, exploring all the sights we requested and explaining the history as we ran. We were in Rome during a heat wave. I was concerned I’d struggle running but Isa set the pace perfectly with plenty of stops and opportunities to rehydrate. We concluded our tour with coffee and pastries!. Isa also very kindly sent recommendations for her favourite eateries!! My only regret is that we didn’t do more tours/days with Isa whilst in Rome! Isa was an amazing tour guide round the city who definitely knew her history. The tour was 5km which we ran at an enjoyable pace to take in our surroundings. Isabella took us to pretty much all the big landmarks around Rome and showed us a few hidden jems. Such a lovely kind woman who also treated us to a drink and snack at an amazing cafe at the end of our run. I 100% recommend this. PS thanks for sharing my fundraiser 😊
