Our guide John was the highlight of our trip to Paris. He expertly navigated us through the vast collection, weaving stories that brought each artwork to life. Do not book with this agency! They canceled on us without even an attempt for an apology or explanation and left us scrambling for alternatives less than 24 hours before our scheduled tour which we had booked over three months in advance. Tripadvisor needs to do a better job monitoring unreliable offerings.

Our guide Hugo tailored the tour to accommodate our kids' interests, making it educational and fun for them. Received a cancellation around an hour before the tour - we had already walked towards the tour when we realized I received an email with cancellation (no details as to why). Louvre tickets were generally sold out and this means we can’t fit a louvre tour this trip, which is disappointing.
Our experience was not good at all. We went to the location that we thought we were supposed to meet at and had our data on our phones so that we could be contacted if needed. We circled for over an hour, only to not find the tour guide. Apparently, we had issues with our Sim card data that we were not aware of until we tried to figure out why we did not receive a phone call from the tour guide. This was not a cheap excursion, and we honestly tried to do our best to find the guide. I submitted a refund request and was denied the refund more than once. Even after telling them about our struggles. Due to the NO REFUND we were not able to afford to go to the Louve Museum. I would have been happy if they would have at least meet us half way on the refund but instead I was belittled by their response "It would very unlikely that only 35 people who attended our tours on this day saw our flags, except YOU!" Seriously, not heart in Paris...

The Louvre can be an intimidating place, so I highly recommend a guided tour, and Melina did not disappoint. As an art history graduate she had an in-depth knowledge of all the key works in the Museum. Her personable manner made the tour extremely relaxed and enjoyable. We had some extra time so she extended beyond the set tour hours to show us some hidden “gems”. She was open to various questions and discussions about the pieces and even offered to take family photos along the way so as not to miss out on the great moments. A very memorable experience!
