Nelson was amazing. He’s a local man who is well connected in Fatima. Trust me when I say he knows things that other tour guides don’t know. He has so much knowledge about Fatima and the story behind everything. He was patient and always ensured we were comfortable and understood what he was saying. Nelson’s family are residents of Fatima and he is a member of the parish. You will learn things that you wont learn from other tour guides. Simply an amazing and caring individual.
Very moving spiritual visit, we attended the international rosary prayer, it was so peaceful and intense

By far the best tour we have ever taken. Nelson had a wealth of knowledge of the history of the area and apparitions. You get the understanding of how the children lived. This tour was a true gem. I would recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in the background of the 3 seeres and the area

We had an incredible tour with Nelson. It was my mom’s birthday and since we were in the area it was a perfect tour for my parents and I. Nelson’s attention to detail, professional and kind demeanor made it a very memorable day. His wealth of knowledge made us feel like we were in a time capsule. It greatly added to what we knew of the story of Fatima and left us so pleased that we booked with him. Nelson was an OUTSTANDING guide. He arrived early and his van was very clean and comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable about Fatima and the entire story of Our Lady of the Rosary. His attention to detail of the entire narrative was fantastic. He took us first to Fatima to see the shepherd children’s homes and explained in great detail the living conditions in 1916/17. We saw the two spots the Angle of Peace appeared and one of the spots where the apparition of Mary occurred. We then traveled to the Church in Fatima (his parish) and learned important details about the church and saw the baptismal fount of the shepherd children. We then traveled to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. He explained all the details both inside and outside of the Basilica. We then discussed the tree the shepherd children used to wait for Mary to appear and saw the Chapel of the Apparitions. Our final stop was the modern Basilica of the Trinity. Again, Nelson was very knowledgeable about the architectural designs and interesting details of the basilica. He provided us with a very complete and fact filled tour of the sites and story of Fatima. This was the best, most complete tour of the entire Fatima experience. Nelson gets our highest recommendation.

My wife and I spent half a day with Nelson visiting the village of the shepherd children, the way of the cross and the Fatima Sanctuary. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel we were immediately impressed with his service, professionalism and his sincere connection to Fatima. We learnt so much and were immersed in the history, faith and his devotion to Mary, Nelson will add to your experience with his deep knowledge of Fatima. The value provided was tremendous.
