Começamos a nossa jornada com um sabor de chorreadas, uma tortilla de milho costarricense tradicional "vertido" servido fresco de um vendedor de rua. É a introdução perfeita aos sabores da região.
Nossa próxima parada apresenta a icônica caldosa, uma mistura única de chips de milho crocantes com ceviche da Costa Rica. Este prato de rua clássico é um must-try!
Aprecie a beleza de Jacó enquanto caminhamos ao longo da praia, admirando pinturas murais vibrantes e arte pública na área. Esta parada permite-nos absorver a paisagem natural e cultural.
Nas quintas-feiras, visitaremos o mercado de agricultores local, onde poderá explorar produtos frescos, produtos artesanais e a vibrante atmosfera da vida comunitária de Jacó.
Depois do passeio, paramos em outro fornecedor para desfrutar de um chiliguaro - um tiro fervoroso da Costa Rica feito com moonshine local, chile e Tabasco.
Relaxe em um encantador restaurante de propriedade local em frente à praia. Aqui, vamos saborear bebidas refrescantes e pratos de frutos do mar feitos com a captura mais fresca local.
Para aqueles que não conseguem obter o suficiente desta bebida costarricense ousada, faremos uma segunda parada para um twist diferente no chiliguaro.
Em um bar local favorito, tomaremos uma Michelada clássica - uma bebida refrescante à base de cerveja - e desfrutaremos de um chifrijo saboroso, uma mistura saborosa de chicharrones (porco picante) e frijoles (boios).
Terminamos com uma nota doce com uma visita a um amado vendedor de sobremesas para Churchill, um delicioso sorvete da Costa Rica com camadas de leite condensado, gelo rasgado e sobremesas de frutas.
Ao longo do passeio, vou compartilhar insights sobre a geografia, história, cultura e arte de Jacó, bem como anedotas e histórias pessoais sobre a cidade. Josue is absolutely amazing! He really has a way of bringing strangers together for a great cultural experience. The food was amazing, but nothing will ever compare to the quality of the Ceviche; I’m still thinking about it lol! You can tell the locals really love and respect him and I would expect nothing more for such an amazing soul! I’ll be back and this will definitely be on my list!

From beginning to end Josue was very informative, accommodating, charismatic, passionate about Costa Rica and its many offerings. He communicated well before the tour to check in as well and had umbrellas for anyone who needed one as it was a very rainy day. That didn’t stop the tour at all. He really cared that all of us were having a great time and enjoying trying new things. We even did a side stop in another store for some shopping and he pointed out other great stops to try while in Jaco. Everything we ate and drank on the tour was delicious and had a story behind it. Josue is a fantastic guide, storyteller, really so good at keeping our interest and time management. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Jaco!
