Itinerário
O bairro de Alfama é o mais antigo e tradicional de Lisboa. Iniciar o passeio nesta zona típica de Lisboa, muito diferente de todas as outras, irá permitir-lhe conhecer este bairro e compreender melhor a história da cidade e a forma como esta cresceu.
No final do bairro de Alfama, existe uma zona (Campo das Cebolas) de elevado valor histórico, as ruínas do antigo porto romano. Aqui poderá conhecer parte das ruínas do porto e conhecer a influência e importância que o povo romano teve em Lisboa e Portugal há vários séculos.
Esta praça monumental e maravilhosa, virada para o rio Tejo, que foi a antiga porta de entrada da cidade de Lisboa, é atualmente a praça mais importante da cidade. Aqui faremos uma parada para que você possa conhecer a praça, para explicar por que ela é tão importante e também para explicar como aconteceu o devastador tsunami de 1755 e as consequências sociais e arquitetônicas.
Depois de parar na Praça do Comércio, pedalaremos durante cerca de 10 minutos, pelas ruas do centro de Lisboa, até chegarmos a outra importante praça de Lisboa, chamada Rossio. Mais uma praça maravilhosa da nossa cidade, onde se situam o Teatro Nacional, a primeira grande estação ferroviária de Lisboa e a enigmática Igreja de São Domingos. Além destes monumentos, você também pode descobrir aqui algumas das lojas mais antigas e lendárias.
Mais algumas centenas de metros e chegaremos à Praça dos Restauradores, que tem no meio o monumento que lembra a restauração da independência de Portugal em 1640. Aqui será explicado porque é que Portugal perdeu a sua independência durante 60 anos. Ladeada por antigos cinemas e teatros, esta praça marca o início da Avenida da Liberdade, a mais importante de Lisboa.
O monumental elevador de Santa Justa, construído há mais de 100 anos, é um dos símbolos mais conhecidos de Lisboa. Aqui faremos uma breve parada para explicar o motivo de sua existência e a grande importância que teve.
Este é o ponto mais alto da antiga Lisboa; aqui, nesta localização única, você tem uma vista extraordinária sobre toda a cidade.
Ao lado da Igreja e Convento de Graça é um dos pontos de vista mais famosos de Lisboa, oferecendo uma vista maravilhosa do Castelo de São Jorge. Enquanto lá, você também pode aproveitar a oportunidade de visitar a igreja.
Nesta localização, onde ocorre o mercado de rua mais famoso da cidade (dias e sábados), além de uma vista fantástica sobre o rio Tejo, você pode ver de perto o Mosteiro de São Vicente e o Pantanal Nacional, dois dos pontos de referência mais icônicos da cidade.

Guide was 40 mins late and her English was not good. Minimal hand signals caused my wife to crash into her

Maria was our bike quide. She made us feel very comfortable, our ages ranged from 71 to 13. She accommodated every need and even fixed a derailed chain along the way. She was very informative about the history of Lisbon and geography.

Maria & Miguel were wonderful, lots of history telling and great personalities. Insightful, adaptable, friendly. Took pictures for us. Showed us sights we never would have found on our own. Would recommend.
