Olá! Esta é Eva da Eva Kestner International Taiko Drum Academy. Sou um baterista e instrutor de taiko profissional e bem-sucedido. Fui o fundador e primeiro diretor musical do grupo Taiko Drumming da Universidade Cornell, recebi o Prêmio de Excelência do Tokyo University of Arts New Artists Competition, e minha música original é agora publicada por Harper Collins e Cambridge International Curriculum que estabelece um padrão global para educação e emprego. Experimente os maravilhosos tambores taiko japoneses através de um workshop de 90 minutos onde eu vou ensinar os tambores taiko em Inglês. Eva is an amazing instructor and Tiako drummer. Such a professional and we had an absolutely amazing family experience. Taiko drumming was amazing and we highly recommend for a great authentic family experience. Great for kids as well. Thank you Eva!!!
This was a great multigenerational activity that was fun, physical, and culturally educational. Eva was a great, encouraging teacher and the format of the class made it very engaging. We would definitely recommend. You can tell she’s really passionate about her music and excited to share with others.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun! Eva's lessons were hard but fulfilling, and when I finished I was fascinated by wadaiko. There were several kinds of drums, and I was allowed to use three kinds of drums. From rhythm practice to songs, I'm very happy.

We had a wonderful time with the enthusiastic and talented Eva. We dove right into technique and explored a variety of rhythms, finishing with a traditional folk piece. This was truly a unique and memorable way to experience Japanese culture.

Eva was a great and fun teacher. This was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved learning the music and receiving the videos of my performance to share with my friends was really neat. If you are interested in music I highly recommend this experience.
My family and I had a private Taiko drumming lesson with Eva and it was absolutely incredible. Many cited it as their favorite memory and experience on our trip in Japan. This was so much fun and Eva is such a wonderful and patient instructor. I high recommend this experience to others. Our pictures and the video from our session will be a treasured memory.
