Itinerário
Após um passeio de ônibus até o Canal de Itabaca, você embarcará em um iate confortável. Este passeio começa com um cruzeiro de uma hora até a Ilha North Seymour, localizada ao norte de St. Croix. A paisagem da ilha é única e conta com árvores secas de Palo Santo e cactos, lar de atobás-de-patas-azuis, andorinhas-do-mar-rabo-de-andorinha nidificando nos penhascos e grandes colônias de fragatas — algumas exibindo suas vibrantes bolsas vermelhas durante a época de acasalamento — assim como impressionantes iguanas terrestres amarelas e mais focas-peludas. Após uma caminhada exploratória de aproximadamente 2 a 2,5 horas ao redor da ilha com seu guia de natureza e um delicioso almoço preparado na hora a bordo, você seguirá para Playa Las Bachas (ou, dependendo do itinerário do iate, Playa Mosquera em dias selecionados).
Após o almoço e um curto cruzeiro (a ordem dos dois locais também pode ser invertida, dependendo do itinerário fornecido pelo Parque Nacional para aquele dia). Esta linda praia de areia branca é ideal para mergulho com snorkel. Em suas águas calmas e cristalinas, você pode observar tubarões de recife, peixes tropicais e, se tiver sorte, flamingos se alimentando na lagoa próxima. Dependendo das condições e do grupo, também é possível praticar mergulho com snorkel diretamente do Zodiac. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! One of our favorite things we did the whole trip! We saw hundreds of friget birds, blue footed boobies, doing mating dances, and nesting. We saw land iguanas, marine iguanas, and sea lions with their babies. We were overwhelmed with the beauty of the island and of the animals that inhabited it. It was a birder and naturalists dream! Highly recommend for adults and children alike!
We actually went on 2 tours with Guiding Galapagos, the other one to Isabela Island, and after trying one other tour operator, I can say Guiding Galapagos was by far the best. They are organized, briefed us on what to expect, they had great snorkeling equipment and made sure each person had the right fit. The boat to Seymour was very comfortable and had bathrooms, a nice observation deck, and a galley that served up some of the best food we had in Ecuador! And also great wifi on the boat. Back at Port, Omar walked us through all preparations and saw us off and met us at the boat afterward for each excursion. On Seymour, Valentin was knowledgeable about all the bird and wildlife behavior. While snorkeling they were there to answer questions about what we were seeing under the water (spotted eagle rays, reef sharks, sea lions, marine iguanas, and lots of colorful fish were swimming with us!). They are a first class tour operator and highly recommended.
This was a fantastic trip! The organization by Daniel beforehand was well communicated and professional. We were on a beautiful yacht with great staff! The 45 minute trip to North Seymour was scenic and enjoyable and the hike upon arrival was great! We saw so much wildlife and our guide was so knowledgeable. After the heat of the hike, the snorkeling was refreshing! The snorkel equipment was top of the line and along with our guide(s), we saw so much including sea lions swimming alongside. We had a delicious lunch and snacks between activities. The day was perfect and I highly recommend!
The tour to Seymour was excellent, we could see blue-footed boobies in their nests. In the boat everything was fine, lunch and snacks, as a suggestion take bottles to refill in the boat. The agency that coordinated the departure was very good, Omar and Felipe answered all our questions, they were very friendly.
Excellent agency, they did not organize an outing to seymour north to see boobies, iguana, frigates and other species. All very. We leave organized and with high quality equipment. We highly recommend the agency
Guiding Galapagos arranged an outstanding tour for us to Seymour Norte Island! This agency helped us plan our itinerary while in the Galapagos and handled all logistics for a worry-free experience each day. From the tour briefings provided in their Puerto Ayora office and outfitting us with high quality snorkeling gear, Stephanie, Daniel and Omar are all top-notch! This agency seems to work with the best tour providers on Santa Cruz as every tour we went on used quality boats, and especially crews and guides. Our day trip to Seymour Island involved a fascinating nature walk on the island where we were able to get up close to view birds and iguanas endemic to the Galapagos. Most amazing was viewing frigate birds and blue-footed boobie mating rituals, nesting birds and even a few recently born. The snorkeling activity was also wonderful led by a super guide. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our tours in the Galapagos, arranged by Guiding Galapagos and highly recommend this agency! Kudos to Stephanie and staff, especially Omar and Daniel!
