It was a nice overnight stay we enjoued a lot amd with friends it was too good by experiencing sunset and dessert safari and really good food

⭐ Rating: 1/5 Avoid Karan Desert Safari, Jaisalmer – Overpriced, Misleading & Unprofessional I booked Karan Desert Safari’s “VIP Arabian Night” for ₹7,500 (as listed on TripAdvisor) but was later charged ₹9,000 after adding hidden “18% taxes.” No GST invoice was ever given, even after repeated requests. The experience was the opposite of what’s shown on their website karandesertsafarijaisalmer.com. The start was delayed, the room was dirty, no water was offered for over 3 hours, and the camel ride lasted just 15 minutes instead of 1.5 hours. We were shifted to a budget camp (Heritage Juma Resort), served basic snacks in a public area with common toilets, and later made to sleep in a small pop-up tent on open dunes — unsafe and unhygienic. Breakfast was cold and tasteless, served late in the city instead of the camp. For ₹9,000, it was the poorest service I’ve experienced. No transparency, no accountability, and no value. 👉 Choose Zostel Sam, Kafila Resort, or Royal Golden Camp instead — far better and honest operators.

Being an adventure seeker, this was the perfect package for us. Right from the beginning everything was taken care of, eliminating any hassle. For instance, we were provided stay in the city itself to freshen up and safekeep our luggage. Karan acted as a wonderful host, engaging us with stories and giving great recommendations. The resort in dessert where we were taken for cultural program and dinner was top notch, food was wonderful. Jeep safari on the dunes and camping under the stars were the key highlights and we enjoyed a lot more than we were expecting. Highly recommend!

We chose the overnight camping plan with my friends and is was pretty memorable moment under the stars. If you are planning a good camping experience with your friends. This is a must visit.

Amazing service and experience. The whole team were great from the very first experience of the booking till the end. We did multiple activities in addition to our package and all were worth what we paid.

I had a great experience at Jaiselmer with Karan Desert Safari’s travel assistance. From taxi to stay, and the hospitable nature of Karan and Tejpal made Jaiselmer ten times better for us. We were two women, even went for star gazing and it was safe and worth exploring.

We booked this package by looking online. And it was good overall. Camp provided were good and they supported us throughout. Very friendly person.
