The two day tour was packed with lots of activities, good people, and great experiences. Lanh (Sunny) was a very kind tour guide and kept the energy high despite a full day first day of activities. The home stay was very pleasant and my host family was so welcoming. On my second day, I had Jimmy (Nien) and he was a great tour guide! He kept things moving at a good pace and was very insightful about Vietnamese culture, people, and ways of life. The drivers were professionals and I definitely felt very safe. I highly recommend this tour especially if you only have a few days in northern Vietnam.
Stunning scenery, excellent tour guides each day, home stay accommodation was fantastic and the food was delicious!

Similar to one of the reviewer, the first day itinerary was good , however, the 2nd day is chaotic and sub-par. 1) The first day was a small group tour (around 8 pax) with good transport and meals served. 2) However, the 2nd day was lacking due to the following : - The morning taxi to transfer us to the big group was not properly communicated. We were supposed to transfer *twice*, but it was not mentioned and only the vehicle number for the 2nd transfer was communicated. Chaos ensued. - The group was bigger (about 16-20 pax) and more chaotic, therefore the experience was not as good as the first day. - The 2nd day tour also had a repeated itinerary with our first day, so we have to wait for around 2 hours for the group to return from their visit and then took the same bus to go back Hanoi , at a timing much later then expected. - Apparently, the entire 2nd day visit to Trang-An was outsourced to another company, and this was not mentioned until I asked Aloha on the chat. I believe that this should be properly communicated clearly and timely, which is missing in this case. - Understand from the other review, it seems that this is not the first time happening, and people had already feedback. It seems that nothing has been done, so if you are consider Trang-An , please take note. - Lastly, I need to point out that on both days, the guides were good, and on the 2nd day, the guide was a little apologetic on this logistic gap, and was trying to find us another bus to get back earlier, though it did not materialized. Hopefully this review will help the other made a informed choice.

The first day was really good with Bob from Aloha. It was a small group as promised. Bob is very knowledgeable and kept the day informative and fun. He also took good care of dietary requirements and allergies. Ninh Binh is a beautiful place to visit. Would have given five stars if it was just one day. Day two, however, we got put with a larger group comprising of ~15 people from different tours lead by a different tour guide, and the day became quite chaotic. We were also not informed by Aloha beforehand that this was going to happen, which added to the confusion. This was very different from what Aloha advertised to us prior, and definitely took away from the experience.

Loved the 2 day tour! The first day felt a bit touristy but day 2 with our local guide Thao was so special. Loved learning how to make spring rolls with her in her beautiful home, and her husband is a fantastic cook. She was also super accommodating for my friend and I! Would also highly suggest trang an instead of tam coc - so much prettier. Highly highly recommend taking a tour with Thao!

We had two lovely days in Ninh Binh. On the first day we were able to enjoy the scenery, by bike, boat and from a vantage point. Lunch was very delicious. The organization was a bit chaotic as we had to change buses again and again and were assigned to other groups. Towards the end it got a little late. Staying in a beautiful bungalow in Tam Coc compensated for this. A great place to stay, nice family. On the second day we got a private tour. Our guide Thao picked us up. We were able to customize the tour towards the end. Thao was very nice and took great care of everything.
