We spent two days touring Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, Linderhof, Oberammergau and Ettal Abbey with Jake, and it was an excellent experience. Jake has an impressive depth of knowledge about Bavarian history and was able to really enhance the context of what we were seeing. He also kept our days running smoothly—timing, logistics, and transitions between sites were all handled seamlessly and with precision, which made a big difference given how much territory we covered. At one point we joked that he must secretly control the schedule of this part of Bavaria, because everything seemed to work out exactly when and where we needed it to. Jake was also extremely helpful beyond the tours, themselves. He offered tips for our time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, logistics info, transportation advice and suggestions for nearby towns/attractions. Even though we already had a very full itinerary, his insights really helped us to optimize our time here. Overall, Jake is pleasant, knowledgeable, organized and easy to spend time with. We would highly recommend touring with him.

We went from Munich to Neuschwanstein castle. Wow. What an amazing day and tour. Our tour guide was unbelievable and so fun. He immediately picked up our pace and just did an outstanding job. He took us to a great restaurant for lunch and ice cream. The monastery stop was also interesting and fun. I highly recommend this tour to anyone! This tour was a great way to beat the crowds at the castle. The tickets sell out early (9:30). By going through the tour company we didn’t have to worry about missing out.
