Navegação no Canal de Beagle com minitrekking USHUAIA
Descrição
Partimos do cais turístico local atravessando a ampla Baía de Ushuaia até chegarmos ao Canal de Beagle através de Paso Chico. Lá navegaremos ao redor da Ilha das Aves onde poderemos apreciar a avifauna fueguina. Observaremos: Skúas, Albatroz-de-sobrancelha-preta, Pato-vapor, Cauquenes, Gaivota-cozinheira e Gaivota-cinzenta. Em seguida, nos aproximaremos da Isla de los Lobos, onde poderemos observar leões marinhos com um e dois pêlos. Ambas as ilhas pertencem ao arquipélago das Pontes. Chegando ao Farol Les Eclaireurs (Os Iluminadores), poderemos ver as colônias de cormorões imperiais e cormorões de rocha enquanto ouvimos a história do naufrágio do SS Monte Cervantes que ele protagonizou em 1930. Faremos uma descida em Puerto Karelo, pertencente às Ilhas das Pontes, onde você poderá visitar genuínos sambaquis Yámana. Esta caminhada guiada dura cerca de 20 minutos e concentra-nos num ponto panorâmico onde se podem tirar excelentes fotografias.

Itinerário
Iniciamos a navegação saindo do Cais Turístico da nossa cidade, em direção ao Canal de Beagle, apreciando, à medida que nos afastamos, a vista panorâmica da costa de Ushuaia, observando os edifícios mais importantes, o Museu Marítimo (antigo presídio), o Museu do Fim do Mundo, a zona industrial e as serras Olivia e Cinco Hermanos.
Seguimos para as Ilhas Bridges, onde faremos nossa parada e descida. É importante ressaltar que a caminhada que é feita durante esta visita não apresenta nenhuma dificuldade e está ao alcance de qualquer pessoa. Além de ter a experiência de caminhar em uma pequena ilha no meio do Canal de Beagle, o objetivo é apreciar três atrativos fundamentais: Yámanas Conchero: vestígios arqueológicos dos habitantes originais do Canal de Beagle. A poucos metros do cais, há armazéns dos assentamentos Yámanas ou Yaganes. Entraremos em um deles e, com base nas explicações do guia, imaginaremos como viviam. Além disso, um corte na parede do monturo de conchas nos permitirá entender e observar melhor a estratificação das valvas dos mexilhões descartadas. Caminhando pelo circuito de interpretação, apreciamos o desenvolvimento particular que as plantas, flores e frutos alcançam neste ecossistema especial.
Embarcamos novamente e navegamos para sudoeste, aproximando-nos da Ilha de Los Lobos, onde, do barco, podemos apreciar a vista dos leões marinhos, observando seu habitat permanente, em um cenário maravilhoso. Continuando a navegação, seguiremos em direção à Ilha dos Pássaros, habitat de corvos-marinhos-de-Magalhães e corvos-marinhos-imperiais e uma área privilegiada para avistar avifauna marinha. Continuamos em direção ao Farol Les Eclaireurs, no arquipélago de mesmo nome, onde o navio Monte Cervantes naufragou em 1930.
O retorno será pelo Paso Chico, passando pelo Túnel e Fique Estancias, retornamos a Ushuaia, com vista para a imponente moldura que o Monte Martial e o glaciar de mesmo nome dão à cidade.

Very crowded on catamaran. Landscaping is scenic but a little boring. Expected to see more wildlife than birds.

During high season, boats can operate at full capacity, but we always aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable journey. Wildlife sightings in the Beagle Channel can vary depending on weather and natural conditions. While birds are very common, sea lions and other marine life are sometimes seen along the route, though sightings can never be guaranteed. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving our services.
Much depends on the weather conditions, if the sea is rough it can be annoying. The views and sights of the animals repay the possible discomfort.

Not as interesting as I thought it would be, for me a little oversold. Slow boarding and not sure why, the line kept stopping and starting. Guide talks were mainly in Spanish with a cut-down version in English. The 'walk' is a 100m to a sign for the town name. We didn't really get to do the Beagle Channel, just a small part of it, I thought we would have gone around the coastline further. Got to see the sealions from the boat though. Boat size was good with comfy seats and big windows and lots of outside space too.

We had a great experience, it was nice to see the city from the water perspective. Walking on the island was nice as well. We were lucky with the weather. Unfortunately we did not spot whales.

It's a big ship, nothing spectacular but if you wanna chill on a boat it's a nice programme. There is no real trekking, it's a 10 metres walk. The provider pushes people out who don't pay for the photos the professional photographers do on the boat. We saw penguins from far and sealions too.

Well organized, comfortable boat, beautiful landscapes, guide in eapanhol and English. We left at 9:30 and returned 3 hours later directly for lunch at a dozen good restaurants in the region.

On a beautiful calm day it was a great introduction to the landscape as my first holiday activity. The island visit was just a short path out and back but taking a moment on the beach was nice.

We were able to see lots of animals from sea lions, penguins, cormorants, and even some whales. The boat was comfortable and even made one stop to get off and explore an island.
