I had a wonderful tour to the whale sharks and canyoneering. I had another company let me down at the last minute so I had to quickly organise something the night before. I contacted on WhatsApp and was responded to immediately with the tour options. The tour itself is well organised and ran smoothly. What I was extremely appreciative of though is that I was stupid enough to leave my GoPro in the car when leaving. Mcrich organised for this to be delivered to my hotel the following day (new year’s eve I might add) at no cost even though I was happy to pay. Thank you to Larry for this. This really showed extremely high level customer service. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!
This tour was amazing! Swimming with whale sharks is a once in a once in a lifetime experience. The day starts early, but our driver did an excellent job bringing us to the different stops, and he was very helpful at the whale shark stop. He was also willing to make stops when we needed. The canyoneering was awesome! The views are so beautiful, and Dave was an awesome guide. He was so funny and made safety a top priority.
Vendor stated that they can pick up at Pier one in Cebu. I purchased this tour for six people. Later, they text that the pick up is 3 hours away and we have to find our own ride there! We tried to cancel and they agreed to cancel but did not refund our money despite the fact that they posted the wrong information regarding their tour.
I am sorry to hear that. I would like to confirm if this is the tour you have booked or you have book with other tour provider with the same name of this tour? We do not have bookings from the past six months for 6 persons on our system. There are other operator vendor on Viator and Trip Advisor with the same name of this activity. You might be referring to other vendor with the same name of tour. Please let me know if we could help you with anything. Thank you
This tour will surely give you unique experience in seeing (some) whale sharks close to you and jumping to the stream from (max) 12 meters high! However, be sure to get energized well as it surely take lots of your energy. If you're in Cebu, you will need to start the trip at 3am or 3:30am and it takes at least 2.5 hours to arrive Oslob. Then in Oslob, you should take breakfast while waiting for your slot because it would take around another 2-3 hours in queue as it's very very crowded there (but the driver will do that and call us when it comes to our slot). We only have 30min in snorkeling with whale sharks, hence let's enjoy every minute :-) ! After that, the driver will take us to Kawasan in around 1-1.5 hours. In Kawasan, it's short trekking trip and has a tour guide with us. You will go trekking in stream and have many points in jumping to another stream from 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12 meters - super fun if you dare :-)!!! But of course, jumping is optional. The tour guide is very friendly and enthusiastic in taking pictures for us and challenging us to jump :)). The final point of this tour is to watch a waterfall and swim here. We took around 4 hours in trekking and got back to Cebu at around 6:30pm. However, besides the tour day experience itself, there are two things that bothered me and I hope you can improve to fully satisfy customers: 1. I booked the tour one week before and only got confirmation via automated systems. No one contacted me at least 1-2 days before day tour to introduce and confirm the time/ location to meet - it's just a message to get your customers feel secured. Then till 5pm before day tour, I had to contact 3rd party to ask whether you forgot us or not, and finally found your number to directly ask about it. I also had to find back-up solutions in contacting other vendors but thankful, finally I got message from your driver at 6:30pm! You should actively do it at least 24 hours instead. 2. The car itselft is very uncomfortable and cramped. You cannot move your feets well and it 'fluctuated' very frequent as the car seemed to be old.
