Esta é a descrição do passeio de 7 horas pelo deserto: Nós viajamos por um dos mais antigos desertos do mundo e nos encontramos cercados pela paisagem rochosa e acidentada do Deserto do Namibe. Experimente os "Ringing Stones" e as plantas fascinantes do Namib, por exemplo, a notável Welwitschia Plant, um fóssil vivo que só é encontrado nesta área geográfica. Com um pouco de sorte, pode-se ver Springbok, Klipspringer. Steenbok, Babuíno, Avestruzes, Ruppels Korhaan e Chat Trac-Trac. Depois de um intervalo para o almoço, passamos pelo leito seco do rio Swakop Valley e passamos pelo oásis "Goanikontes". Fechamos este passeio com uma visita às dunas de areia de Shifting perto de Swakopmund. Por favor, note: O Desert Tour de 4 horas envolve uma rota mais curta e não inclui uma pausa para o almoço.

Viaje ao longo das pequenas propriedades na margem norte do rio Swakop até o deserto mais antigo do mundo, o deserto do Namibe. Seu guia explicará a origem do deserto do Namibe e as condições geológicas e climáticas desse deserto costeiro. À medida que avançamos, deixamos todos os vestígios de civilização para trás e nos encontramos rodeados pelo cenário acidentado e rochoso do deserto do Namibe. Experimente as "Pedras Circulares" e as plantas fascinantes do Namibe, por exemplo, os indígenas Lithops, também conhecidos como "Pedras Vivas", bem como uma variedade de líquenes raros e, acima de tudo, a notável planta Welwitschia, um elemento vivo fóssil que só é encontrado nesta área geográfica. Com um pouco de sorte, pode-se ver Springbok, Klipspringer, Steenbok, Baboon, Avestruzes, Ruppels Korhaan e o Trac-trac Chat.
Após uma agradável pausa para o almoço, dirigimos ao longo do leito do rio seco do vale Swakop, que é ladeado por árvores Tamarisk, Prosopis e Ana. Highly recommend, especially if you'd like to see the moon landscape/moon valley, as well as learn more about rare and interesting plants in Namibia! Hans was a very cheery and knowledgeable guide, and the tour passed by very quickly.

This morning tour of the Moon Valley, Goanikontis, and canyons along the Swakopmund River was so interesting that the time just flew. The bonus at the end was the welwitschas which have always been on my bucket list. Hans Dieter, our guide, has a wealth of information to share and is also a local Swakopmunder having lived there for all of his 91 years. A truly wonderful enlightening morning. Thank you

We booked a half-day trip to the moonscape and Welwitschia with Hans, originally wanted to drive ourselves and have wg. No permission on Sundays closed office. That was our great luck because otherwise we would have missed Hans. At 91 years old (!), he is an almost inexhaustible source of knowledge about Namibia's history during the last decades, but has not only read it, but experienced it himself. Against this background, the tour was a real experience for us, first with the so-called lunar landscape, then the Guanikontis Oasis and last but not least the drive through the Swakop River (which we would not have been able to do as a self-drive without 4x4). For the finale the Welwitschia, no beauty, fortunately not Instagramm-able, but for Namibia visitors just a must-see. We can warmly recommend Hans-Dieter Göthje to anyone interested in deeper knowledge about botany and Namibia, who, incidentally, with his age could also be a role model for all those who want to spend the evening of their lives not only in the chair.

We had a good experience with Hans. He is a legend and know much about Namibia, the Swakopriver desert, plants, animals and Namibian economy.

Used this tour company to go to namib desert and we drove through the dried swakop river as well as through the desert to see moonscape view point and then found the welwitschia plants, very informative and worth the visit. Recommend if you decide to go to Swakopmund.

The tour was really great! German-speaking Hans-Dieter is the perfect guide for this tour since he is from Swakopmund and has been living in Namibia for all of his life. He told us a lot about Namibia, the culture, politics, landscape, animals, so we got a deep understanding. He drove us to the amazing moon landscape as well as to the Welwitschia plants. We can totally recommend the tour!

We had an amazing tour and created unforgettable memories. Our experienced guide, Hans, was a fantastic host. We enjoyed a private tour with him and experienced the Namibian desert to the fullest. The highlight was the lovingly prepared picnic lunch under a large rock.
