We had a great time swimming in the lagoon. There was no time limit on how long we could swim, which was very appreciated because it was so BEAUTIFUL. Prior to boarding the boat, you are able to enjoy the amenities of some shops and a bar. It was a great vibe! Our guides were entertaining, helpful, and knowledgeable. We want to visit again (possibly in the rain) and "that's no lie".

What a con. They add luciferine to the sea water and sell it as a natural phenomenon. A woman from New Jersey USA had a severe skin reaction on the boat from the chemical. You can go and swim in that very sea without paying the money. Granted, the boat captain was welcoming and the short fire show is good and bizarre at the same time, especially for children. Overall experience is below 0.

It was nice and interesting. Don't expect that the water is as blue as it is in the pictures and that you will be able to see yourself in any picture someone is taking of you.

There was really nothing to see, we were the last boat to go out and the first to come back in. All of the other passengers on the other boats had great pictures. So get on the first two boats going out.

Our cruise included the sunset which was a bonus with very entertaining crew. Due to the rain the bioluminescence was not dramatic but we still enjoyed swimming in the more subdued colour.

This was so much fun! It was me and my 7 girlfriends.. we had a ride there and back to our hotel safely .. I would say to bring a cash tip because the boat members are so nice and they keep you safe, they review everything with you and keep it super interesting night swimming was 1000% worth it.

This was such a cool and amazing experience. The boat captain was very cool and knowledgeable. He made the tour fun and informative. The lagoon was warm and so beautiful when you move. It was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced.

Booked this as a large group and travelled 2.5 hours from Negril to experience this. Arrived early and some of the party had food and others just a drink while we waited for dark to fall. Once it was time to go we were herded onto tiny boats. There were way too many people on the boat as you could not move. We then sailed out for about 5 minutes while the captain gave us some details about the lagoon and area. Those that wanted to swim got out and did so for about 5 minutes. In they got thrashing around to activate the water. And de nada, zero, nil zilch nothing happened. Despite the staff on the boat enthustically trying to convince you that it lights up. Then the best bit is when you got back and they want 50 dollars for pictures that look like you're swimming in the Thames. We paid a lot of money for this. Not worth the drive or the expense.
