This winery has it all, great wines, service, setting and food
This is a great addition to the line up of excellent wineries in the Placerville-Apple Hill area. Set in the beautiful, pines, oaks and cedars of this bucolic area it is an incredible experience to taste wine and have excellent food on the deck or the patio. Our two servers, were fantastic, attentive, knowledgeable and personable. The wines were incredible. We especially liked the Pinot Noirs they serve. Chef Lisa provided us with really tasty dishes to compliment our tastings. The wedge salads and hummus plate were wonderful. We also tried the sister winery on the same property 1850 winery. If going to Apple Hill for the Apples or the wineries, this is a must for a great experience!
