Van Gogh Love
I loved the in-depth look into life and evolution of Van Gogh. The audio guide was essential to telling the story. The museum is beautiful.

Get tickets at the venue
Low stars because I’m just not a fan of museums. I found tickets from $120-$150 (USD)on line. When we got there it was $50-ish and $3.50 for the head phones. It wasn’t real crowded, which was nice.

Audio tour is the way to go.
Words don’t sufficiently cover the experience of this museum. I highly recommend the audio tour to really immerse yourself in Van Gogh and his life. The relationship with his brother was something new I learn and I really told the story of the man/artist.

Must see for any art lover
The Van Gogh is a must see for anyone that remotely appreciates art and/or history. It's very well presented and easy to follow. Saw some pieces I was completely unaware of. To stand right next to multiple original Van Gogh paintings is priceless!

V VAN GOGH - DO NOT BOOK VIA TRIPADVISOR / VIATOR - RIP OFF.
A decent visit, took approx 3 hours and did learn a lot about VVG. However….. the price paid for tickets via tripadvisors / VIATOR was an absolute rip off. They charged me over £105 for 2 tickets which could have been bought on the Van Gogh site direct for only €57. I understand businesses need to make a profit but the price I was charged is an absolute rip off which marred the whole experience.

The audio guide is a must
Very interesting to see the stages of Van Goghs life and how it affected his art. The pieces were thoughtfully curated. The audio guide was very helpful and hit enough of the highlights to keep me interested.

Museum not to be missed with an audio guide. Price perhaps excessive but Van Gogh is worth this and more. For me, an experience not to be missed in Amsterdam.
