A primeira vista da excursão é a Grande Mesquita do Sultão Qaboos, que é verdadeiramente uma obra-prima da arquitetura mundial. Levou 6 anos para erguê-lo e em 2001 foi aberto com sucesso. Esta mesquita é um tradicional edifício islâmico leve feito de arenito e mármore. Tem 5 minaretes - um minarete principal e 4 laterais que criam um aspecto distintivo especial. O design interno é rico em mosaicos, enormes tapetes persas artesanais e candelabros decorados com cristais.

Esse é um lugar ideal se você quiser dar uma olhada na vida cotidiana de Omã. Basta ir ao longo das fileiras, procurar os itens, barganhar e se divertir como aqui você pode encontrar tudo a partir de especiarias acabamentos tapetes tradicionais, vasos ou apenas lembranças.
Residência do Sultão Qaboos. De ambos os lados, os fortes cercam o palácio, então você provavelmente apreciará a paisagem magnífica. Localizada no centro da cidade, ela sempre atrai muitos visitantes e, embora as pessoas não possam entrar, elas podem ir com facilidade e tirar fotos bacanas.
O museu possui uma extensa coleção de armas antigas, incluindo khanjar, equipamentos domésticos e trajes (a maioria dos quais deriva da coleção particular do proprietário). Do lado de fora do museu há uma vila e souk de Omã em tamanho real.[2]

A thoroughly enjoyable half day tour! We were picked up direct from our hotel (as were all the others on the tour) and we visited the Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House, Mutrah Souk, the Bait Al Zubair museum and the Royal Palace. Our guide, Jamal was excellent, giving the group a really well informed narrative throughout. He was able to answer all our questions and was really friendly and sensibly amusing. A really great way to see some amazing parts of Muscat.

Jamal our guide was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Major bonus that he knows all the best photo spots and took most of them for me! Me, my wife and son really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it as a comfortable and informative way to see the highlights of Muscat!

My first time in Muscat and Oman this tour gave me an idea what's around and what to see. Our tourguide Mahmood was super nice, friendly and answered all the questions I had about the culture, customes etc. I was extremely impressed by the fact, that not just that I got picked up at my hotel but also dropped off. The Grand Mosque was the highlight of the tour. Definite must do. Our guide guide was good with interesting information. Mutrah souq we were explored by ourselves or you could sit it out on the Cornish and watch the world go by.

This tour is interesting both in terms of history and also architecture. I did this tour with my family and our local guide was Jamal. He took us to the most important places in Muscat and explained all the history behind it. Jamal is a likeable, knowledgable and funny person. He also knows the best spots to take pictures. He's the goat. We enjoyed the tour so much more because of him. 10/10 guide. Thank you Jamal!
