Isso envolve uma caminhada máxima de 1 a 2 horas pela plantação de chá e interação com Tea Pluckers para aprender a cultura local do povo. Além disso, esta caminhada é boa para a saúde na forma de respirar oxigênio puro e paz de espírito. É uma nova atração introduzida pela Lockhart Farm Tourism em Munnar. O objetivo deste programa único é proporcionar aos amantes do chá de todo o mundo a experiência única de produzir o seu próprio chá, desde a planta do chá até a xícara. A fábrica de chá Lockhart é famosa por seu chá ortodoxo produzido da maneira tradicional. O museu inclui uma fábrica viva que foi construída em 1936 e um ponto de venda de chá e seções de degustação de chá. Os visitantes recebem um briefing sobre as origens do chá para consumo, sua história e benefícios para a saúde e explicam sobre os processos tradicionais de fabricação do chá. Loved the trek, my guide showed the best spots to take pictures and was so knowledgeable. The tea factory tour was also fabulous and I got to taste so many varieties of teas. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Munnar

Amazing experience with Mani! This tour was exactly what I wanted: a calm, peaceful and informative walk through the plantations, a visit fo the factory and a nice little tasting moment. I was lucky to be alone on the tour and Mani (who was so knowledgeable) was so open to accommodating my preferences. They were also very responsive! Truly recommend!

Munnar is a beautiful hill station with stunning tea plantations, pleasant weather, and breathtaking scenery. The roads are scenic, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Popular attractions like Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, and the tea gardens make it a great destination for nature lovers. The local food and hospitality were also enjoyable. Mari was a great guide and very passionate within the tour! He was great at explaining everything and overall the experience was great! He also helped take photos of our family which was amazing!

Very easy process and great operator here in Munnar. Hotel pick up and drop off was arranged. The tea trail is great with guide Mari who is very knowledgeable. Walk for 90-120 minutes with amazing panoramic views of munnar. Mari gave a great explanation of the tea process. Tuk tuk to the tea factory for an in depth look into tea process and finally tea tasting. Definitely recommended and appreciated the hard work of Mari our guide.

We spent a beautiful morning with a jovial and expert guide. Our group of four (two from London, one Thai and a Canadian) learned about the history of tea planting at Lockhart and the various grades of rea. We learned about the life cycle of the tea plant and met several workers toting very heavy loads of fresh cut leaves. After several hours we returned to the factory for atour and again interacted with some of the workers.. we end the tour with a tasting of the various grades of tea. The Super Premium is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I bought 4 pounds to bring back. This was one of the highlights of our trip to South India. Kudos to the operators and especially our guide
