Ao ver as cidades, você traçará visualmente o caminho que a Geórgia percorreu desde o início da Idade do Bronze até a adoção do cristianismo.

Nossa caminhada começa com A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, P. Tchaikovsky, A. Dumas-pai, L. Tolstoy e muitos outros. Ao sair do caminho, você passará pelos lugares onde os eventos descritos por Lermontov no famoso poema "Mtsyri" se desenvolveram e subirá ao templo Jvari do século VI - daqui você verá uma vista encantadora de Mtskheta: " ... onde o barulho se funde, abraçando, como se duas irmãs, os jatos de Aragva e o Kura ... "
Templos de Mtskheta Você visitará a Catedral de Svetitskhoveli (Pilar da Vida) - a catedral patriarcal da Igreja Ortodoxa da Geórgia. Familiarize-se com sua história e eventos significativos do passado. Aqui está o local de sepultamento dos santuários do cristianismo - a túnica de Jesus Cristo e o manto de Elias, o Profeta, bem como as relíquias de Santo André, o primeiro chamado.
Passado pagão nas cavernas de Uplistsikhe Um caminho curto para o noroeste - e você vai encontrar-se em uma cidade caverna do final do II - início do primeiro milênio aC. Had a great day with tour guide Paata! Visited the oldest Orthodox church in Mtskheta, the cave town in Uliscikh and the amazing ancient defensive fortress on the mountain in Gori! Thanks to Paata, we have learned many new and interesting things! It was also time to take a walk around the local fair, buy spices, churchelas, wines. We had lunch at a restaurant with delicious local dishes! The tour was very informative and rich! Thank you, Paata!

We were recently on a tour with Paat's guide - and it was a real journey through the eras. The route is structured so that you literally go from antiquity through the Middle Ages and gradually find yourself in the realities of the Soviet past. It's really cool how Paata connects different historical periods into one coherent story - without dry facts, but with living details, legends and unexpected twists. Separately, I would like to note that the tour took place in a mixed group, and Paata led it equally easily and interestingly in both languages - Russian and English - without leaving anyone behind. Travelled by comfortable minibus for about 15 people, which made the trip convenient and allowed to see more places without rush. We visited Jwari, Gori, Uplistsikhe and Mtskheta - and thanks to Paata's stories, these places are revealed as a single historical line, where each era logically flows to the next. Particularly liked that the tour is not overloaded with dates, but more about understanding context and feeling time - history really comes alive. Paata is a charismatic and attentive guide who can adjust to the interests of the group and answers any questions. Definitely one of those excursions, after which you take a different look at the history of the region. I recommend it!
