Lovamahapaya é um edifício situado entre Ruwanweliseya e Sri Mahabodiya, na antiga cidade de Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. Também é conhecido como Palácio de Bronze ou Lohaprasadaya porque o telhado era coberto com telhas de bronze.
O Ruwanweli Maha Seya, também conhecido como swarnamali maha seya (lit. 'a Grande Thupa'), é uma estupa (uma estrutura hemisférica contendo relíquias) em Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. Dois litros ou um Dona das relíquias do Buda estão consagrados na stupa, tornando-a a maior coleção de suas relíquias em qualquer lugar. Foi construído pelo rei cingalês Dutugemunu em c. 140 a.C., que se tornou rei do Sri Lanka após uma guerra na qual o Rei Chola Elāra (Ellalan) foi derrotado.
Kuttam Pokuna (lagoas ou piscinas gêmeas) são antigos tanques ou lagoas de banho bem preservados no Sri Lanka.
O Buda Samadhi é uma estátua famosa situada no parque Mahamevnāwa em Anuradapura. A postura de meditação associada à sua primeira iluminação. Esta estátua tem 7 pés e 3 polegadas de altura e é esculpida em mármore de granito.
Abhayagiri Vihāra era um importante mosteiro do budismo Theravada, Mahayana e Vajrayana situado em Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.

Sandakada Pahana, também conhecida como Moonstone, é uma característica única da arquitetura do antigo Sri Lanka.[1][2][3] É uma laje de pedra semicircular elaboradamente esculpida, geralmente colocada na parte inferior de escadas e entradas. Visto pela primeira vez no último estágio do período Anuradhapura, o sandakada pahana evoluiu ao longo dos períodos Polonnaruwa, Gampola e Kandyan. Segundo os historiadores, o sandakada pahana simboliza o ciclo do Samsāra no Budismo.
Este gigantesco lago artificial chamado “Eth Pokuna” ou “Lagoa do Elefante” está situado perto de Lankaramaya em Anuradhapura. Trata-se de uma lagoa retangular, com 159 metros de comprimento, 52,7 metros de largura e 9,5 metros de profundidade, com capacidade de retenção de 75 mil metros cúbicos de água. Eth Pokuna significa literalmente “A Lagoa do Elefante” devido à sua escala. Isso faz parte da paisagem do enorme mosteiro Abhayagriya, que se estende por mais de 500 acres. O tanque é feito de grandes blocos de pedra empilhados em ângulo nas paredes. Existem 3 lances de escadas ao fundo, nos lados sul, norte e leste. O fundo não é pavimentado.
Esta é uma das melhores pedras de guarda da Srilanka.

We spent more than 4 hours with Ajee today. Pick-up 2 steps from the site with bikes. There were 5 of us with our grown children and he was particularly attentive to answering all our questions about the site, about Buddhism, and even about some first meditation exercises for one of our daughters! Ultra interesting guided tour to understand the site and the history, very pleasant bike ride, stop to drink because it was very hot. Frankly to be recommended with your eyes closed. Thanks again

We had such a great tour with Ajee, he is very flexible to work around your timeframe for the day. His passion and knowledge of the world heritage sites and Buddhism is exceptional. We also were treated to a delicious Sri Lankan morning tea and lunch to finish off the tour. We biked around 10km but you can do more or less. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Very good tour. Ajee is very knowledgeable about everything. He could answer any and all questions. His English is amazing and he seems to really care about all his customers. He supplied delicious snacks and even an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. Highly recommend if you want true knowledge about Sri Lankan Buddhism and a very intimate tour that can cater to any needs.

Ajee is full of knowledge and an amazing guide. We asked him a million questions and he always had an answer and with very good English as well. He continually gave us water and made sure we weren’t too hot or hungry and even took us to an amazing local spot for lunch after. 10/10

Ajee offered us a very beautiful discovery of Anuradhapura, both in terms of the temples and their history; he helped us better understand the philosophy of Buddhism. We tasted typical dishes. It is a very enriching experience. The bike tour allowed us to discover the Sri Lankan countryside and to observe the fauna and flora, and to taste some plants. We had an excellent day with Adee; he adapted to our pace. He has extensive knowledge of architecture, history, and Buddhist culture. Going from temple to temple by bike is a fun way to keep the kids entertained. Adee is a very friendly and cool person. We recommend him 200%, he is the best.
