A travel agent from Belgium suggested this trip to us. Upon arrival at Colombo airport, Ricky was already waiting for us and helped us get a SIM card and local currency from the very first moment. He navigated us through Sri Lanka's busy and chaotic traffic for three weeks. He was not only our driver but also our guide; with his sociable nature, he often manages to arrange extra stops and other things for you. We often laughed together and enjoyed the trip. Besides guiding us around, he was also our photographer. You can see he really enjoys taking photos; the crazier, the better. His personal dedication was a great asset to our trip. We used the company and driver Mithun Dinushan to drive us around Sri Lanka. He was with us for one week. Dinushan is very kind and welcoming, he was great at suggesting places to take us but we were also able to suggest the places we wanted to go and he would happily take us there. He recommended some great viewing points that you wouldn’t see if you were part of a big group tour. The car was clean and comfortable.

We had THE most amazing time in Sri Lanka and much of this was due to the kindness, competence and personality of our driver, Madushan (Madu). He was truly the best driver and guide possible - a very safe and competent driver, but above all, a very gentle man with a huge smile! Madu was a delight to travel with - he took us all over the island, from Negombo to Wilpattu National Park, where we saw a leopard, sloth bears and many other amazing creatures; then on to Nilaveli and Trincomalee where we snorkelled with black tip reef sharks, and watched spinner dolphins! Then on to Habarana and the Cultural Triangle - a highlight was climbing Lion Rock at Sigiriya (quite a feat for me as I get vertigo so very proud to make it to the top, highly recommended, glorious panoramic views!). We also spent a lovely afternoon in the company of dozens of elephants, including very newborns, at Minneriya National Park, and finally down to Bokkawalla near Kandy, for more cultural treats and hikes. An amazing, amazing country - friendly people, gorgeous food and sunshine!! Thanks to Madu, we love you and hope to return - and also a big shoutout to Ishan and Celine who managed all the admin around our trip and were always prompt, friendly and helpful. The WA group was particularly useful as we could easily keep in touch on our travels as needed. Thank you all, we hope to return one day!

We stayed for two weeks traveling around Northern Sri Lanka and could not have asked for a better tour guide / personal driver. Our tour guide (Fayaj) was kind, helpful and didn’t give a sign of frustration when we left stuff at previous locations (a restaurant) which he would then go back to pick - although I am sure he had some! This is a great service who is doing a personalised trip and doesn’t want the stress of driving on the Sri Lankan roads.

We had a fantastic time with Safnas - he drove and took care of us very well. The operator was easy to speak with and extremely responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend as it offers travellers ease of mind when planning such a trip! Both Safnas and the operators were communicative, helpful and friendly at all times.
