We had a wonderful trip to Delphi with Nikos, our tour guide. He made the long trip enjoyable and even suggested restaurants to try for dinner when we were heading to Nafplio.
We had a wonderful 2 days touring with Panayiotis and Eudaimonia Private Tours. The trip to Delphi was amazing and our guide was so fun and friendly. We had a great time visiting the sites and learning about Greek life and culture. We all highly recommend this company! Don't hesitate to book them while in Greece. Panayiotis treated us like family and we loved spending part of our vacation with him. On our second day, we were not able to take the ferry to Milos as planned due to a strike, so Eudaimonia Tours planned a spur of the moment second day for us in Nafplio ! We greatly appreciated their ability to turn a somewhat stressful situation into a second day of fun for us. Great people ! We definitely plan to visit again soon !
Elizabeth, thank you very much for taking the time to write the great review. We'll be happy to see you all again!
It was a great experience. Panos was an amazing host and attentive to our needs. He made us feel very comfortable right away.
Thank you, John! Panos is good, isn't he? We are happy that you appreciate his effort to help you blend in and feel comfortable throughout the tours.
The best thing about doing a private tour is that you go at your own pace and don’t have to deal with crowds in buses. Panos, our guide and driver for the day, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We learned a lot of things, not only about the places we visited, but also about Greece. The time flew by with interesting and fun conversation. We visited Delphi and Hosios Loukas, both incredibly beautiful and mystical places. Delphi was crowded but still an amazing archaeological site. On the other hand, we had the monastery for ourselves. Panos took us to a family run restaurant for a delicious lunch of Greek dishes we still had not encountered. We highly recommend this tour and company, it was truly a special and unforgettable day!
Great review, Jacob. I hope that all your group was happy with our services. Nikos
We went with Eudaimonia company. Paros the driver was superb very easy- going and great sense of humor. Picked out a delicious lunch and had great bar/restaurant suggestions in Athens. This trip was a great value and worth the drive from Athens
OK, Frederick & friends ... You butchered Panayiotis (Panos) his name but you compensated with a great review :) Paros is one of our popular islands and maybe this is the reason for mispelling! However, Panos (Panayiotis) is also a very popular tour leader. Once again, thank you very much for taking this tour and your airport transfer with us. Eudaimonia means "happiness"!
First and foremost Panayiotis was AMAZING!!! My partner and I along with two of our friends did the Delphi private tour. We explained to Mr. P as we like to call him that my partner was recovering from some health issues and he would be moving slowly as the trek to the top might prove challenging for him. Panayiotis assured us it would not be a problem and we didn’t feel pressured to move quickly. He was attentive and considerate of our pace. As far as the tour itself….. It was breathtakingly beautiful! Panayiotis was informative and knowledgeable, he was fun and engaging with a great sense of humor and kept us laughing the whole time. It was indeed a pleasure to meet him and have him as our guide. Thank you Mr. P.
Dear Joseph! Thank you for your excellent review of ... Panayiotis. Mr. P sounds good ... and Panayiotis maybe could embrace it as his second name after this great tour with you all. Panayiotis is a great asset to our agency and we are happy to get your approval too! Thanks again for choosing our agency for this tour.
We had a great trip to Delphi and the monastery. Having our own driver pick us up right at our hotel - who could tell us all about the site, its history as well as anything else we wanted to know was so nice. Low stress and high level of support. After Delphi we had a wonderful lunch that our guide ordered so we could try all of the best dishes of Greece — needless to say it was outstanding! The beautiful monastery was the icing on the cake. Panayiotis made our trip really perfect and would highly recommend him and Nikos for any tour you might seek in Greece!
Dear Traci. Thank you very much for the great review. Panayiotis is a great guide and companion for travel. He appreciates your detailed review, comments, and description of your experience. Delphi and Hosios Loukas monastery are ideally located with amazing views, and of course, we always choose very unique restaurants since we consider "food" as a major part of our tours and of your Greek experience! Once again, thank you very much for choosing our agency.
This tour was amazing and truly worth the extra money compared to the other ‘private’ tours we looked at. It was just our family of 4 and our guide. Panayiotis was engaging and knowledgeable. We talked with him the entire way, not just about the sites we were visiting but also about our cultures and experiences. He wanted to learn about us just as much as we wanted to learn about him and the things we would see. The lunch was a highlight, in a beautiful small village just before the monastery. When they ask you to trust them with ordering the food, you should. They truly do try to take you away from the ‘tourist’ experience and demonstrate things truly Greek. Delphi is spectacular, and if you want to go there from Athens, with some amazing extras, this is the way to do it.
Dear Scott We are delighted that you and your family enjoyed the tour to Delphi with our guide, Panayiotis. He is extremely knowledgeable and fun to travel with. It's people that make the difference, and you were also open and outgoing, thus making things easy for Panayiotis to adjust to your preferences. Our food inclusion is a must for us since this is Greece, and our visitors must have a real Greek food experience. It is as important as the sites. Thank you very much for taking this tour with our agency.
We recently took a cruise out of Piraeus, Greece but had a few days to travel in Athens and surrounding area. We contacted Eudaimonia for tours/transfers and from the beginning, Nikos was very responsive and helpful organizing the tours. He responded all our questions quickly and even helped me plan an Athens walking day on our own. He communicated with us prior to arrival to confirm pick up times and details, and always contacted us after tours to make sure all was well. The two tours to Delphi and Cape Sounion/ Temple of Poseidon were the perfect introduction to our 2 week Greek holiday. Panayiotis, our tour guide, was very professional, always punctual and very knowledgeable of current events and past history that made the drive very interesting. We were happily surprised with some home-made goodies and the restaurant we stopped in the way back from Delphi we were introduced to some delicious food selected by Panayiotis. In one of transfers that we have a bit of spare time, Nikos even stopped for a few minutes in 2 surprise places that were not in our radar so we could see other sites in Athens!. For our next trip around there we will book Eudaimonia tours . Thanks you Nikos and Panayiotis for wonderful experience.
Isabel & Chris, Thank you very much for your great review. Panayiotis is a lovely person and an excellent tour leader. He enjoyed the time with you as you enjoyed both Delphi and the Temple of Poseidon. It was also a pleasure for me to meet you and spend even the limited time we did exploring the hidden spots! Take care. Nikos
I booked this tour for myself and my husband for a day trip to Delphi, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! Everything from our wonderful tour guide, to the communication, to the vehicle, to the itinerary was top notch. We even got to enjoy surprises like home-made goodies from our host. The whole experience felt very local and friendly, and the opposite of "touristy", and we learned so much about Greek history, culture and customs. The lunch was a nice and warm local experience - not a single other tourist around us, and a real treat. If you want to have a great and hassle-free adventure, 100% go with Nikos and his team. Thanks for a great time!
Thank you very much for the lovely review! Your guide Panayiotis felt very relaxed traveling with you and mentioned that you were pleased with his approach to exploring by avoiding the typical crowds, touristy stops, touristy restaurants, etc. Thank you once again for taking this tour with our agency.
