Wonderful to experience the culture and history of Mostar and then the majestic beauty of the WaterFalls
My family thoroughly enjoyed the day trip, which was perfectly organised. It was very easy to find the meeting point in the morning. The minibus was comfortable, and we were accompanied by a guide who gave us a detailed history of the country & its culture. In Mostar, we were met by another guide who did a great job of showing us around the city. We were given the option to explore a historic house, which I would definitely recommend. There was plenty of free time to shop in the bazaar, and get lunch. The stop at the waterfall was also very nice, a good break in the journey that offered the chance to stretch your legs and take in some beautiful scenery.
What an incredible tour! Just when you think it can’t get better, it does! Our guide regaled us with history as we walked through this magical waterfall haven. This is a must do!
Comfortable transport and friendly guide. Waterfalls to see 🤩. Mostar a little more disappointing , only the bridge is interesting , the alleys in the surroundings have unauthentic shops... Top restaurants a little outside the tourist circuit. This excursion occupies a whole day in February , so in the middle of the season you can double the travel time especially at border crossings , relatively long wait when we were the only vehicle .....
Mostar old town is small but charming and the bridge is beautiful. Makes the trip even more interesting if you are aware of the recent history of the city's suffering during the war.
Despite being approximately two hours each way, the bus journey felt short and comfortable. The onboard guide was phenomenal, filling the time with historical context about Dubrovnik and Bosnia, which made the ride fly by. Upon arrival, our second guide offered a deep, insightful look into Bosnia and provided fantastic local food suggestions that did not disappoint. Even though we had rain, the entire experience was definitely worth the journey and the time. In the summer being able to swim in the waterfalls would have made it even better.
Very good guidance and a fabulous trip on the way back to Dubrovnik In all a very interesting historical tour
Great tour guide. We learned a lot, saw fabulous sights and had a perfect day. Be prepared for a long day with border crossings.
This was the perfect day trip from Dubrovnik! Communication with the agency prior to the tour was amazing and they kept us updated with the pick-up location and time. Pick-up was punctual and the tour bus was comfortable, modern, and was equipped with great AC. Our tour guide, Olye, was amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. She navigated us through the border with ease, educated us on the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the ride, and constantly went up and down the aisle to ask if we were comfortable. She even shared her personal list of local bars, restaurants, and nightlife recommendations which we greatly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this tour with Olye and our driver (forgot his name)!
Lots of travelling, but coach is comfortable. Plenty of time in Mostor, a bit more rushed at the waterfalls but still enough time to have a good swim. Guide was very knowledgable and well organised from start to finish.
