Great tour of the Codoba Mosque/Cathedral. Our guide replaced our assigned guide (due to a medical emergency) at the last minute. She was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history and amazing architecture of this site. Highly recommend!

Guide “Paqui” was exceptional- like a university level history lesson, given with smart humor and enthusiasm. She is a Cordoba treasure. I learned so much and the tour made visiting the mosque (as a day trip from Sevilla) absolutely worth it.

The mosque cathedral is an amazing structure and our guide had in depth knowledge that she shared with us. She answered all questions patiently and thoroughly. She gave us plenty of time to take photos.

The most memorial part of this tour were the columns in the mosque. Each column was signed by whomever originally sculpted it. This tour brought home the skill and talent achieved by the people who built the mosque. It is truly breathtaking.

I have visited many parts of the Moslem world for professional reasons…. From Tunisia, Egypt,Jordan Iraq and Iran. The Spain of the Moors was the missing part of my vocabulary. The Mezquita in Cordoba with the concept of all three major religions existing in harmony is something we could learn from today.
