With friends and family. A great afternoon, relaxing and very user friendly activity for all. Lovely, helpful and informative teacher/owner. For all ages and ability. Very enjoyable, time passed very quickly and you have a lovely souvenir.
I really wanted to enjoy this class and was excited to attend, but unfortunately the overall experience fell short. The biggest issue was the environment. The room felt warm and stuffy, with very little air circulation, especially towards the end of the session. Seating was also an issue. Everyone was packed around one long table, and because the class was fully booked, my friend and I couldn't sit next to each other or move seats. If we wanted to talk, we had to speak across the table for everyone to hear. The music was another drawback. Jazz played for the entire 2.5-hour session, and while that's a personal preference, it clearly wasn't popular. Multiple people asked if it could be changed, but it wasn't. The instructor was pleasant, but the class felt poorly organised. Different lamp designs were shown after many people had already started gluing tiles, making it either too late or difficult to change designs. It's disappointing because the concept has a lot of potential. With better organisation, seating arrangements, ventilation and atmosphere, it could be a great experience. As it was, I was more relieved to leave than eager to stay.
It’s was an amazing experience. Our instructor was very sweet and very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful day. Highly recommend.
Fantastic unique experience! I was visiting from Adelaide and was gifted the experience from my nephew. My sister and I both had a memorable afternoon. Thank you
The whole workshop was absolutely amazing. So organised and so helpful. Didn’t feel rushed. Would definitely do another workshop
We were really looking forward to our Turkish Lamp making class. Unfortunately on the day of our class there were not enough packs supplied for the class for us to be able to complete the project they had ordered and paid for. It set a pretty bad scene for the beginning of the class. It was a big class and the lady running the class had to deal with trying to sort it all out while we should have been starting our class. It was quite disappointing. We were told the pack would be sent to our home which has not happened and we haven’t got anywhere with trying to contact the company.
A pleasant way to spend a rainy afternoon. Young couples around me were friendly and happy. (I was only one on my own and the oldest).
We did this class for my sister in laws hens and the instructor was terrible. So rude and not personable at all. She left us all feeling very small and awful on a day that should have been so special for my sister in law. We were 15 mins late and I text the company to inform them, with no reply we were greeted with "if you were 2 minutes later I was going to cancel your order". A larger group then turned up 30 minutes late and she allowed them to join in the class. Very disappointing experience given we chose this class because I had done it previously and had a wonderful experience. The other instructor that was there was lovely, very warm and welcoming.
Unfortunately, despite much excitement (this was a gift for my daughter’s birthday) the experience was not a good one. The person running the class was extremely rude, condescending and impatient. One of the people in our party is neurodiverse and the instructor was verging on mean to her. At the end of the class the girls were packing up and the instructor was visibly agitated. Whilst I appreciate these classes run to a schedule there needs to be some grace given to younger, less able participants. If this is not possible, then raise the age of participation to 18 (the girls are 16 & 16)
Very nice little place with more than enough room for groups to spread out. The lady was very nice and accommodating, as she gave us some apple tea and Turkish delights for free! Her instructions were very good for the mosaic class, and my boyfriend and I were happy with the experience as a whole.
