Sant'Apollinare Nuovo é uma impressionante basílica do século VI localizada em Ravenna, Itália. O Mausoléu de Galla Placidia é um edifício romano antigo tardio em Ravenna, Itália, construído entre 425 e 450. Foi adicionado à Lista do Patrimônio Mundial junto com outras sete estruturas em Ravenna em 1996. Apesar de seu nome comum, a imperatriz Galla Placidia ( d. 450) não foi enterrado no edifício, um equívoco que data do século XIII; ela morreu em Roma e foi enterrada lá, provavelmente ao lado de Honório no Mausoléu de Honório na Antiga Basílica de São Pedro.

Very nice small group tour. We only had 6 people in our group. Our tour guide, Marta, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We'll worth the money.

I use a walker and found the walking tour to be handicap accessible. Our guide, Marta, was very knowledgeable about history and the meaning behind the beautiful mosaics. The 3 food stops provided time to sit and rest.

Ravenna is a beautiful city to walk around, all the most important monuments are in the center, with the bike rented at the station, and in the cycle path you can get to the basilica of San appolinare in class...
I was a little wary in choosing this tour as it didn’t have many reviews but we were just in town for a few hours on our way to a cruise and wanted to see the sites and grab some lunch and this ticked all the boxes. Marta was truly a gem and her passion for her home and knowledge of the sites was outstanding. The food was also fabulous and we were stuffed! Highly recommend this tour and hopefully you’re lucky enough to get Marta as your guide.
