My husband and I took this day trip and absolutely loved it! From the bus ride ( very comfortable and great entertainment from Thais ) to everything we learned about Montserrat. Our guide Montse was so kind, knowledgeable, and made this experience amazing! We loved her! The tour of the winery and wine tasting experience was also great and Montse made sure we were comfortable, asking staff at the castle to grab us a fan while wine tasting. 10/10 experience!

A very well organised tour with the most professional of guides. All the guides for the groups were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Carla, our guide was exceptional. She had a passion for Catalunya and a huge depth of knowledge on both Monserrat, it's history and legends and of course the winery. Not only did she share this enthusiasm and passion for the whole day with everyone in the group, but she pitched it all just right with a great sense of humour too. She is a treasure for the company! The tour began with a little history of the region on our journey- a good way to pass the time ( about 45 minutes) The time we had at Monserrat was an ideal mix of guided tour and free time for those photos opportunities and a little tasting of local cheeses, honey and nuts. Well worth it!! After seeing the inside of the Basilica and the famous black Madonna we went to a local vineyard for lunch and a wine tasting. The lunch was excellent and the wine tasting interesting as well as very delicious. A further opportunity to have a glass of one of their other wines was also on offer ( extra payment). This tour was exceptional in both value for money as well as a brilliant experience.
