Good way to see the falls, shuttle ran smoothly, had plenty of time to explore independently. Would recommend.
I was a bit unsure regarding booking this given the mixed reviews and confusion on pick up sites etc. but I was confident I'd figure things out. I went to the supposed pick up site by the other busses near the famous Chateau hotel (Place D'Armes) and asked other guides, who pointed me in the right direction for bus shuttle pick up. The pick up site is actually the corner of Rue Pierre-Olivier-Chauveau & Rue Sainte-Anne. I've attached some photos of what the bus and signs looked like for future travelers! The bus was a blue double-decker with Quebec Tours written on it and Montmorency Falls pictures. The bus driver was very nice and I got responses from the staff/driver? right away on viator when I messaged them. My shuttle left at 12pm and I was told there was a pick up at 2:30 and 3:30pm (last of the day!). It's a 15-20min ride, super close by. Parking lot was full. The cable car line up was insanely long and I heard it's $24? If you're in okay shape and it's not too hot, the 480 stairs is doable. Take your time and rest at the outlooks, you can do it! It was fun and beautiful. I walked the suspension bridge and came back down on the stairs. People were very kind and pretty polite. As a solo traveler, some helped me get some nice pictures which I appreciated. At the top there is a snack shop with cold drinks and ice cream/slushies! Not too bad priced but there is a line. Back at the base there is a big shop/tour base which sells food, merchandise, has seating, and had restrooms. I really enjoyed the site and getting super close to the waterfall was exhilarating! Do it early so you can dry off before the bus ride back! Pack lightly and enjoy strolling around. If you miss the shuttle, expect around at least $30 USD uber back to the old city (that's around what I saw in the morning just for curiosity).
The shuttle was a perfect way to access the falls. Both capture and return times provided plenty of time at the falls. Highly recommend!
Easy pick up/drop off. Flexible times. Driver was very gracious and dropped us near cruise shuttle….
Shuttle was very easy and the driver was great! One thing to note is that this shuttle only provides 3 return trips leaving the falls... Is wasn't an issue for us as we were able to fit our plans into the pick-up times, but the write up suggests that you can grab a return shuttle as will and it isn't quite as flexible as suggested. The falls were beautiful and worth the visit. We did the cable car ride to the top and we walked across the suspension bridge.
The trip was fun for kids. I recommend going on this tour. The bus was comfortable and this no a long ride to get to the Falls.
Bus was not easy to locate when leaving because there were so many tour buses that looked similar. Otherwise, all was efficient.
Pick up on time for our trip to the Falls. We had time to view the falls, climb the hillside staircase and Zipwire across. Also a little time to see the park at the top. We could have done with more time to take in the park at our leisure. Good coach, vgood trip and communications.
The shuttle bus was very nice once we were on the bus. The bus driver was courteous, and it was a wonderful way to get out and see the fall.
The tour operator was fine. They will do what they can to help. The Falls are great to go visit. Highly recommended. I do not recommend any bus tour in Quebec. Way too much traffic. Easier to Uber and control your own destiny. Don't waste your time enjoying Quebec by standing in long lines all day. Or walk the city.
