We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our guide, Yuki! He made our trip to Mt. Fuji and the Wasabi Farm unforgettable. Yuki was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, sharing fascinating information about the history, culture, and local area throughout the tour. His enthusiasm and passion made every stop more enjoyable, and he went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. The views of Mt. Fuji were spectacular, and the visit to the wasabi farm was a unique and memorable experience that we would have never appreciated as much without Yuki’s expert guidance. If you’re looking for a guide who is personable, informative, and genuinely cares about providing an exceptional experience, we highly recommend Yuki. Thank you for helping create such amazing memories of Japan! We would gladly tour with him again. 😊🇯🇵🗻

Magical Trip and Yuki were great. They were accommodating to our needs. Yuki was enthusiastic and informative. He taught us much about the history and culture. He got our kids engaged and enjoy the conversations. Having a private vehicle was great. We got to go where tour buses could not and had the flexibility for pit stops if required. All of us were comfortable and liked that the tour was not crowded. We will book Magical Trip and Yuki again.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you and your family had such a comfortable and enjoyable private tour with Yuki. It's great to know he was able to keep the kids engaged and share meaningful insights into Japanese history and culture. We’re also glad the private vehicle added flexibility and made the experience even more convenient. We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation!
Nao san, was very happy, knowledgeable and polite, great guide! We missed the crowds, the atmosphere was awesome and length of the tour was perfect. Had many great suggestions and our tour was perfect! Great for family and or couples, and price/admission fees are WELL worth it.
Nao is one of the best tour guides I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The tour was very comprehensive, with beautiful views, amazing sceneries and hidden gems off the beaten path. Nao went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and even managed to complete our despite having an unforeseen 2hr traffic jam in the morning. 10/10 would recommend and would live to book another tour with him!
Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re so glad Nao made your tour memorable, even with the traffic jam. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the hidden gems and beautiful scenery. We hope to welcome you again soon!
The excursion with Tushi to Mount Fuji was a truly enriching experience for us. We learned a lot about Japanese culture. We can highly recommend Tushi and the driver to everyone!
Nao is very friendly and knowledgable. He was very flexible with the schedule and catered toward our interests. Despite us being unable to see Mt. Fuji (Mother Nature), we still enjoyed our tour because of him.
We’re thrilled Nao could make your tour enjoyable with his friendly and flexible guidance. It’s great to hear you still had a wonderful experience even without seeing Mt. Fuji.
Our tour guide Ramesh was awesome. We booked a Christmas Eve tour to see Mount Fuji - but we didn’t really due to unlucky weather. Nevertheless we and Ramesh made the most of it and had a great time! Our family loves the outdoors as did Ramesh, and we all appreciated soaking in the culture and surrounding landscape and sites, albeit on a wet day. We would do it all over again without hesitation :)
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re glad to hear that, despite the weather, Ramesh was able to make the most out of the day and your family was able to enjoy the culture and scenery. We would love to welcome you back again any time!
We had an amazing Mt Fuji tour with Yuki. He was super nice and knowledgable. Communication was very good. He took us to many stops, we would not have seen on our own and explained our many questions. This excursion was the highlight of our trip so far. Yuki helped us navigate through the crowds at popular locations showing us where the best photo spots are and translating many of the Japanese items we could not read. He took us to some local places which were amazing to see the local culture and not just tourist spots. I would highly recommend this tour and Yuki. I wish we did another tour when we first arrived because it would have probably been very helpful to explain many items.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you had an amazing Mt. Fuji tour with Yuki and that he was able to make your experience so enjoyable and informative. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you on another tour in the future! MagicalTrip

This tour was a 10 out of 5 stars. I was in Japan 2 full weeks and this was the highlight!!! I had originally booked another "Customizable" tour but the customization was one of 2 choices... communication was sketchy, and they would not go to Mt Fuji 5th station if it was raining. Cancelled that one. Scouring other options, I finally found this one. They understood that I wanted to go to the 5th station regardless of weather and view as the view was not the important aspect for me. Kiho was AMAZING in making this happen for me on short notice. The driver Ton was already outside my hotel when I came out - he was so polite and professional all day. Yuki my guide showed up a couple of minutes later. And we were off! First stop was short hike to a magical waterfall - all in a light drizzle. It was perfect. Next we went to the wasabi farm. I was aware that what we get in the US called wasabi is just colored horseradish but I was not prepared for just how good real wasabi is. Waterproof boots are provided for the tour. The older gentleman who shows due around was a multigenerational farmer of this site. The water came from Fuji taking decades to travel and purify underground. After seeing how the operation works, I got to actually dig up a wasabi root from the water paddy where it grows. We took it back to the little building and I was shown how to pull apart the shoots to be replanted as new plants and how to clean the main root. We then ground it on the traditional sharkskin paddle. Then it was tasting time- it was so good! The farmer also makes 2 versions of preserved wasabi that we got to try. Lunch time! I have dietary restrictions and Yuki made sure everything was ok. We went to a mom and pop sushi restaurant where we took off shoes and sat on floor on tatami mats at a low table. It was the best meal I had while in Japan. Next - a quick sake tasting experience. So cool how it is dispensed after putting tokens into the machine. Then - off to Mt Fuji. We wound our way up the very curvy road - suggest motion sickness meds if you are prone- through drizzle and clouds and then burst out into complete clearing. The summit of Mt Fuji was clearly visible even though the sky above was completely gray. The thick cloud layer started not far below 5th station obscuring the world below. I was 100% fine with no view. I came to feel the energy of the sacred mountain - and feel it I did. We got to walk a little way down the road that becomes the trail to the summit. Visited the preciously peaceful Shinto Shrine. And of course perused the gift shops. Keep in mind it was cold and windy up there. I had prepared with several layers but a toboggan and gloves would have been nice. Honestly I slept a good chunk of the drive back waking up in time to see the lights of Tokyo. I had told Yuki that I planned to see Shibuya Crossing and find the Hachiko statue the next day. He asked if I wanted to stop there at the end of the tour - the caveat being that I would need to get back to my hotel from there on my own as the driver would be dropping us off. I eagerly accepted this offer. Yuki took me to the perfect place to observe the Shibuya Crossing. We then went down and through the crazy crossing and over to the Hachiko statue where I of course got pictures. He then made sure I was comfortable getting back to my hotel on my own. (Straight shot on the Ginza line to Asakusa). It was an absolutely perfect day! Yuki was the perfect blend of information and quiet time. Very personable sweet young man. If I had not already planned out my next 2 days, I would have done another tour with him. All I can say is Magical Trip needs to advertise more or something to get this tour to come up higher on the listings.
