A família Glassbottom oferece um cruzeiro interessante, ideal para famílias, que combina os mosteiros do Monte Athos com a ilha de Ammouliani. Na primeira parte do cruzeiro veremos os mosteiros do Monte Athos até o porto de Daphne (6 dos 9 mosteiros), enquanto na segunda parte visitaremos a única ilha habitada de Ammouliani. * Durante maio e outubro, é feita uma parada no porto central da ilha, Ammouliani *Durante os meses de verão a parada é na famosa lagoa Alikes. (paramos no porto da praia, você pode nadar ou pode almoçar no restaurante da lagoa)

Durante o cruzeiro combinado seguro e confortável, na primeira parte, você pode aprender sobre a história dos Mosteiros Sagrados do Monte Athos — metade deles (6/9) — enquanto há uma visita guiada em vários idiomas.
Na segunda parte do cruzeiro o navio faz uma parada de 1 hora e 30 minutos na ilha de Ammouliani.

The organization is good, but as for the price is too high, it is worth maybe half. Boarding at Ouranoupoli's port was good, Professional Welcoming, what is not worth is just the fact of being too far from the coast (given the inaccessibility of Mount Athos prior permissions), does not allow you to see the Monasteries (4/5 in the Tour) then after 1 h and 1/2 of navigation they head for the island of Ammouliani, too crowded with people with umbrellas and deck chairs, in a handkerchief of beach (little space for a "relaxation of 45 min") , the only positive note the crystal clear sea .. but if you look at the beach .. you would like to escape! perhaps recommend only the visit to Mount Athos (price to be considered high and Monasteries seen from afar) that the mixed cruise Mount Athos + the island of Ammouliani .. see you ..

Vorremmo però precisare alcuni punti: • La crociera combinata che ha scelto comprende la visita ai monasteri del Monte Athos e una sosta sull’isola di Ammouliani della durata di 1 ora e 45 minuti, non 45 minuti come indicato. • La distanza minima di 500 metri dalla costa è obbligatoria per legge a causa della regola dell’“Avaton”, che vieta alle donne di avvicinarsi di più alla riva. • Il prezzo di questa escursione è di 30€, mentre esiste anche la possibilità di scegliere la crociera più breve, che visita soltanto i monasteri senza sosta ad Ammouliani, al costo di 25€. Ci dispiace che la Sua esperienza non sia stata del tutto in linea con le aspettative, ma riteniamo che un punteggio di 1/5 sia piuttosto severo, soprattutto considerando l’organizzazione e la professionalità che Lei stessa ha riconosciuto. The walk is nice, and the boat clean and the staff nice. The value for money is very good. I don’t give it a 5 because we were in an area where people constantly came to smoke, next to us (we went with minors), and because outside the cabin area, you could not hear the explanation in several languages they offer.
A beautiful boat trip that takes you to the monasteries of Athos, which is very impressive. Afterwards, we head to a beautiful bay to the island of Ammouliani for more than 1.5 hours. The ship itself has a well-equipped bar and enough space so that you can enjoy the view and ride and see enough. With an average of 25€/person in high season a great price/performance! Afterwards, you can stroll through Ouranoupoli and eat at the port.
Too hot inside the boat and in the back of it. People were smoking on it and all the smoke stayed with us. It felt like an old time bar. Not recommended if you come with the kids.

Regarding smoking, according to Greek law it is allowed in outdoor spaces. However, our boat also provides a designated non-smoking area, so that all passengers can enjoy their trip comfortably. Beautiful trip the wonderful monasteries Too bad that the stop in Ammouliani lasts little you could do at least two hours

Beautiful boat trip, beautiful sea, beautiful glass bottom of the boat. Excellent stop on the island for a relaxing swim in crystal clear waters. I expected a little more focus on the monasteries beyond the fact that they are not open to visitors I wish I had some more information
You will not reach the mount Athos and you will see only 3 monastery while your 1,5 hour trip alongside the coast, then 1,5 hour back and 1,5 hour standing at the island Views are nice anyway:)))
We booked a cruise with Petra Friedrich to 4 monasteries on the west side of the Athos with a bathing and lunch stop at Banana Beach on the island of Ammouliani. The ship was called Athos. A very nice modern and small ship, which was also allowed to sail closer to the monasteries. Mrs. Friedrich is very friendly and helpful and responds lightning fast to questions. Highly recommended.
