Visite as belas paisagens naturais das grandes montanhas do Cáucaso no chamado caminho militar georgiano para a Rússia. Nossa próxima parada será na fortaleza de Ananuri.
A Fortaleza de Ananuri é uma fortaleza medieval do século XIII. Foi construído para proteger a cidade de Jincali dos inimigos e fechar as estradas para as montanhas. Possui muros altos e torres de combate e uma torre residencial. Na fortaleza existe também uma igreja com o nome de São Jorge. São Jorge foi protetor dos exércitos, fortalezas e cidades georgianas.
Em Gudauri paramos para tirar fotos no monumento da Amizade Gudauri. Na verdade fica ao lado de Gudauri. O monumento da Amizade Gudauri, também chamado de Monumento Panorama, foi construído em 1083, na época soviética, para memorizar a amizade de 200 anos entre os povos georgiano e russo. A história da Geórgia e da Rússia está pintada na parede. Há 200 anos, um acordo de amizade e cooperação foi feito entre os reis georgianos e russos, eles também chamam de acordo de proteção, mas depois da morte do último rei georgiano, os russos aboliram o reino na Geórgia e os governadores russos governaram a Geórgia até as revoluções socialistas russas, até que os comunistas chegaram ao poder. We decided to do a day tour to easter Georgia - Anauri and Gadauri because we wanted to suprise our step son's girlfriend with a marriage proposal. I have to say that none of this would have been possible without George our guide. He helped us with everything and even became our photographer. He became part of the family. We just got back from an incredible trip to Georgia But as my children say Georgia was incredible but George was even greater. From the minute we landed until after we landed back home (when he checked in to make sure we arrived safely) he was so kind to us- he actually became part of the family he is so kind sensitive nice and insightful our trip was the most amazing ever all in his credit! His knowledge of the country with his wisdom to figure us out and understand what the needs and likes of our family and create and change the itinerary to make sure all of us are having the best time was so special we had some personnel special needs which he took care, watched our baby (who didn't want to leave him) took photos for us were ever we went and kept us entertained for all the hour we were in the car George is one of the nicest people i have met and highly recommend anyone that is thinking about going to Georgia to hire him We cant wait to come again

Tour of Tbilisi was special to us personally. Thanks to George that he made the tour memorable for us. Adding to the beauty of Georgia, he took special attention that we along with kids enjoyed every moment of the tour and took extra care about our visit. The tour was well planned that we covered the best of 4 days visiting Tbilisi City, Jvari Monastery, Gudauri, Mtskheta, Gori, Uplistikhe. Every place we went by was filled with rich history and George ensured that we as toursist understand the significance of the city, people and culture. It was an awesome 3 full-day trip outside Tbilisi with friends and the helpful guide, George. He is well informed about his country may it be religion, history etc but just do not ask him about flowers. Lol. He would also go beyond his duty as a tour guide by physically assisting you while going up or down or just crossing. We were a group of 5 women and he helped us all. And for that, I highly recommend him, if you are looking for a knowledgeable tourist guide. He also speaks english well, hospitable and recommends great places. Thank you, George. Started with the cableway to view from top old historical places, walk high staircases to get on top to view the waterfall. View the bridge from lovers which lock their locks and throw the keys in the river. To seal their Love for each other. Tasted blue warm wine. Bought lots of little Georgian fridge magnets, keyrings at the little kiosks....

<p>The couple that took us on this tour were lovely and very informative. We could stop wherever we wanted to stop. It was a 12 hour round trip but well worth especially the 4 wheel drive up the mountain to see Kazbegi monastery. They were a couple to travel with.</p>
