We had a great time on this trip. Asmaa was engaging and pleasant. The Abbey and Island are amazing! I waited 39 years to visit and it was everything I hoped. The only suggestions I would make would be to have a little longer on the island - we barely got our tour and lunch in and we didn’t dawdle. Also put in the preparation email that rain is common so people can plan accordingly. We got lucky and the rain stopped just as we got there but we would have been pretty wet had it not.
Our guide Sidi was great, but there was not enough time for lunch and to visit the abbey at a leisurely pace. We actually had to cancel our order before it came at the restaurant, because we ran out of time to make the bus back. Too much time at the rest stops on the way there and the way back. Would have been better to do less rest stop time and more time at the Mont.
It was a great experience if you are on a short trip to France. The whole tour was between 14-15 hours long, given you are traveling in a big bus which of course cannot travel too fast, and breaks are naturally longer. Information was provided for us during the drive, and we were left to explore by ourselves. Information such a big group and a busy location it is difficult to do a proper walking tour of the place it self, however some inside information would be appreciated. We had 2 guides due to a large number of participants (sorry I cannot remember the names), and they did a good job, very enthusiastic and entertaining. Perhaps breaking up the group in 2 would be easier with time and efficiency, but we were satisfied with the amount of time we had to spare on France.
Sidi is very knowledgeable with great stories of the history of the area. She was extremely nice and energetic.
It was so exciting. Honestly, we can speak a little bit of English and listen as well. However, it was no problem. Thanks to Sidi and City Wonders. One thing I felt could improve the tour is that the time at Mont Saint Michel should be longer, about 1 more hour.

Unfortunately, due to the heatwave, we were unable to visit inside the Abbey this time. However, we would love to book another tour in the future and visit again. An absolutely exceptional day trip to Mont Saint-Michel with City Wonders. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, well-organised, and far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Deepal, was the highlight of the day. She was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the history of Mont Saint-Michel. Her storytelling brought the abbey and its surroundings to life, and she had a wonderful way of making everyone in the group feel included and looked after. She was patient with questions, attentive to timing, and clearly cared that each of us got the most out of the visit. A truly outstanding guide. The drivers also deserve special mention. Sebastian in particular was incredibly warm and friendly, making the long journey comfortable and even enjoyable. His professionalism and good humour set the tone for a relaxed, stress-free day. Five out of five without hesitation. If you’re considering this tour, book it — and hope you’re lucky enough to have Deepal and Sebastian. Highly recommended!
Loved this trip! Dee our guide did an amazing job sharing the history of Mont Saint Michel. She also has great knowledge and tips on where to go in Paris for dining and other nice places. Great experience. Highly recommend.
