Monkey/Sloth Park + Tirolesa e City Tour em Roatan

Our family of 19 recently visited Roatán and worked with Sandri's Tour Roatan to arrange two separate excursions. Luis was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, coordinating one group for a city tour, ziplining at Mayan Eden and ATV at Roatan Adventure, and another group for an island tour and beach day. Mayan Eden 7 line ziplining has a great view of the port. Malcome was our guide and driver for the city tour, ziplining, and ATV excursion. He did a great job explaining the island's history, economy, culture, and sources of income while ensuring we got safely and efficiently to each activity. We appreciated his knowledge and professionalism. However, according to the 13 members of my family who toured with Jilly, she was absolutely exceptional! Jilly didn't just give them a tour—she immersed them in the Roatán experience through all five senses. My family is of Guyanese heritage, and since mangoes are in season, they mentioned wanting some fresh local mangoes. Jilly went above and beyond by calling her mother and arranging for mangoes during the excursion. She explained the different varieties of mangoes, introduced them to local foods and beer, and made sure they experienced the authentic culture of Roatán. Those small details may seem simple, but they created memories that my family is still talking about. Please tell Jilly to keep doing exactly what she's doing. Her attention to detail, passion for her island, and genuine care for her guests significantly enhanced our family's experience and boosted our opinion of your company. She will be my top recommendation to anyone visiting Roatán. We also spent time at Blue Paradise, where the bartenders were friendly, accommodating, and made customized drinks that were excellent. Sandri’s Tours gave us one of the best days we’ve ever had on a cruise. From the moment we walked out of the port and met our guide, Needia, we knew we were in good hands. She greeted us with a warm smile, a clean and well‑maintained vehicle, and much to our surprise, it ended up being a completely private tour for just me and my wife. As she drove us across Roatán, she shared fascinating history, local culture, and insights into the island’s economy. She also took us to some incredible viewpoints before dropping us off for zip lining. The zip line experience was amazing, seven lines with beautiful views of the jungle and ocean. The guides were fun, friendly, and took fantastic photos of us along the way. Right after zip lining, we visited the monkeys, sloths, parrots, and other animals in the same park. Our animal guide was great and made the walk through the park enjoyable. We loved getting up close for photos and seeing the island’s natural beauty and flora. From there, Needia picked us up and continued showing us the best of Roatán. We stopped at the Rum Factory for stunning ocean views, a delicious rum cocktail, and some rum cakes and hot sauce to take home. Then we visited the chocolate factory in a lively downtown area lined with bars and ocean views. We sampled a ton of chocolate flavors, bought a few bars at fair prices, and even got a fresh chocolate chip cookie. We explored the area afterward and dipped our feet in the ocean while live music played nearby. When we got hungry, Needia took us to Cayuco Beach Restaurant inside a private resort (which was beautiful). It was right on the beach with a great food, great service, and even free WiFi. After lunch, she continued the tour, showing us beautiful homes, scenic spots, and more of the island before returning us to the port. We laughed, learned, and enjoyed every minute of the day. It was exactly the experience we were hoping for, and Needia delivered 100%. Thank you so much, Sandri’s Tours, highly recommended!

Our tour guide was Christie and I could not possibly give her more stars. She was so kind and professional. She was incredibly patient with us as we negotiated our way through the city. She took us to some great spots to see the sites of beautiful Roatan I would recommend her and would use her again with joy.

We booked this trip from the UK after reading recommendations on royal Caribbean icon groups and trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide Chris was waiting for us at the port and we were so lucky to have him to ourselves. The car was an SUV, comfortable and clean. Chris was a fantastic guide, telling us history, gave us a city tour etc. The zip-lining was fun and the guides there were great! Highly recommend booking with Sandris

Had an amazing time on this tour at the monkey/ 🦥 park. My park guide shared lots of information about the animals and it was great to see them not all caged. Would definitely recommend Sandristours.

Cruise was redirected to Roatan so booked this excursion the evening before arriving. Great experience, friendly people. Booked as a solo traveler. Didn't initially realise this was a private excursion (if book solo, will just be you, if you book for a number of people then will be just them number of people you book for), but it was no concern and my tour operator was great to chat too, communicative about any questions about life and culture in Roatan. The ziplines were great, the sanctuary was a nice tour and not rushed (unfortunately didn't see a sloth as couldn't be located at the time but no fault of theirs - they are not kept in "captivity", they free roam the nature there. The chocolates& rum factories are not exactly factories but more so a separate shop locations but still pleasant to walk around with a great viewing point at the back of the rum factory My driver was also great in taking to various viewing points and sightseeing attraction points and taking photos from my own phone for me if I'd like him too. Would recommend this as a way to see various parts of Roatan whilst also enjoying the zipline adventure and animal sanctuary!

We went on a tour with Sandris as a port stop in Honduras while sailing on the Carnival Jubilee. I assumed we would be part of a larger group, but it ended up being a wonderful experience with our own personal tour guides. Fany was our driver and Rolando was our guide. Rolando was only 17 years old, but spoke perfect English and gave us a great experience sharing the history of Honduras an information about his country and the city of Roatan. We went to the monkey/sloth park, rum and chocolate factories. We had them drive us by the beach, but we didn’t really care to get out so they took us to other interesting places around the city. Somehow, in our conversation it came up that I love to shop thrift stores in the states, so they were nice enough to take me by a local thrift store in Honduras so I could compare! Fany stopped at a roadside vendor and picked up empanadas for all of us, they were delicious! Is was apparent that they had our safety as a main concern, and also kept track of the time to make sure we wouldn’t miss our ship! I would highly recommend Sandri’s for your excursion in Roatan. Very personalized and interesting tour!
