A imponente Sé Catedral é o edifício religioso mais emblemático de Lisboa. Desde o século XII a Sé Catedral foi entrelaçada no início da história de Portugal e foi o primeiro edifício religioso construído pelos cruzados cristãos do século XII.
Fundada no século XII por D. Afonso Henriques, foi dedicada ao santo padroeiro de Lisboa, São Vicente de Zaragoza. Embora tenha sido gravemente danificado durante o terramoto de 1755, o edifício atual data do século XVI.
A construção começou em 1628 e só foi concluída no século XX, pelo que Obras de Santa Engrácia (literalmente As obras de Santa Engrácia) tornou-se sinónimo português de um projeto de construção sem fim.
Um ponto de vista memorável com uma vista deslumbrante sobre os telhados de Alfama e o rio Tejo, a uma curta distância do Castelo de São Jorge, Portas do Sol é o lugar onde você realmente pode contemplar e apreciar Lisboa.
O miradouro da Senhora do Monte, localizado no bairro da Graça, oferece uma panorâmica única e, sem dúvida, uma das mais belas vistas de Lisboa, especialmente por ser um dos pontos mais altos da cidade.

We had a fabulous tour yesterday in the very capable and knowledgeable hands of Tiago Netto. It was a packed 4 hours worth of absorbing many of the sights that Lisbon offers. From the amazing Churches to the Monument to the Discoveries. We also tasted the most delicious Pastel de Nata and not from the original pastry shop! Tiago also gave us some restaurant recommendations, one of which we followed up at lunchtime today. It was the best we have tasted In Lisbon. Thank you Tiago for a fun and informative afternoon.

We did a Lisbon tour with Mario and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip. We were a group of 7 friends and everything felt easy, relaxed, and very well organized from the start. Mario is not just knowledgeable, but also genuinely engaging – the kind of guide who knows how to read the group and keep things interesting without overloading you with information. We got to see the city in a way that felt both structured and spontaneous at the same time. What stood out the most was the atmosphere. It didn’t feel like a typical “tour”, more like being shown around by someone who actually cares that you enjoy the experience. You can tell they put effort into creating that “mon ami” (friendship) vibe – and it works. Lisbon itself is stunning, but having the right guide makes a huge difference. Highly recommend.

We had the best time in Lisbon with Tiago as our tour guide. He arrived early to meet us and his TukTuk was comfortable and clean. He asked us what we wanted out of the tour, we told him, and he delivered. Being a native, he was able to provide a wonderful tour of the city (some popular sites and also some local non-tourist sites) with a lot of historical facts. He took us from one side of the city to the other and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend Tiago!

Tiago gave us a great 2-hour tour! We told him the places we had already been, and he adjusted the route to show us new areas that we hadn't seen, and some of his own favorite places. He spoke good English and had lots of interesting stories to tell. He stopped in a few places for photos and at two shops. We didn't check prices for rentals on the street, so I'm not sure how their rates compare.

Tuktuk ride arranged by hotel (cost 220 euros) was unsatisfactory. I am very surprised to see so many highly rated reviews. The driver Mario was very pleasant and knowledgeable; a lovely man. However, the tuktuk was very difficult to get in and out of (we're quite nimble but this would be a real problem for some people); the ride was unbelievably bumpy resulting in me feeling quite nauseous; but the biggest problem was that we could see hardly anything because of the way the vehicle roof is structured. In order to see anything at all, we had to sit bent double and even then our view was blocked by the low roof. For a sightseeing tour this is quite unacceptable and not a great way to spend 4 hours!
