We bought the Moab shaka guide bundle through trip advisor. We have used the Arches park and La sal mountain loop tour so far. Let me tell you it is the best money we spent for our trip to Moab area. The guide, we called him Fred, was guided by gps so he was spot on on our location at all times, directions were perfect and more importantly, we got a lot of detail and accurate information on the sights we were seeing in real time. The app can be paused if you hike or exit the car and it resumes right where Fred left off. The detail , stories and information of Arches and La Sal mtns and what we were seeing was incredibly helpful. Otherwise we would have been just looking at the red rock formations or the mountain ranges and would have no idea of the significance. We all loved Fred and his narration, the music during interludes of driving was soft and soothing and Fred had a nice voice and sense of humor to boot! Don't hesitate to purchase and we certainly will buy the guides to do other parks in the future. Can't wait to do the Canyanlands tour tomorrow. Thank you Fred, you are the best!
I got the audio tours and used all three. It’s very nice to have the history, geology, etc besides just directions. I definitely recommend these audio tours. I had a little trouble with the beginning of one tour. I think the GPS had a little trouble finding us when we started but it caught up and was alright.

Interesting and entertaining information. We have enjoyed Arches National park and Deadhorse point State park so far, with one more tour for tomorrow at Canyon land’s National park. I would use these tours again.

Each location provides an audio explanation of the area. The narration is triggered automatically by the GPS in your phone. I would certainly buy the tours for other parks.

The audio guide is supposed to work with your GPS on the phone. We got poor signal and audio cut off in 2 seconds throughout Arches park and Canyonlands it didn't turn on at all. Beware before making purchase

This is the second program we have purchased from TripAdvisor. The information provided is terrific. The stories are delightful. The background information more interesting. However, we have some issues. The GPS does not always pick us up after a stop. I am not sure if it is user error or not. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend using it.

We were only able to the Arches National Park audio , but it was informative, allowed for stops and knew when you were moving again. A few jokes scattered here and there. All I all perfect for us doing our own tour.

Our first experience with Shaka was in Kauai. Our young adult grandchildren were with us on that trip and they also thought the tours were awesome! When planning our trip to Moab I was so excited to find these tours! They did not disappoint. Great travel guide with lots of info and stories and the directions were spot on. Highly recommend Shaka Guides!

This was a last minute purchase and I'm so glad we did! The tour tracks your location and automatically starts up accordingly. We learned so much about the parks that we would not have otherwise known. It even tells you highlights and place to skip if you have limited time in the parks.
