Our experience with Jasmine was amazing! We were provided with a warm welcome, fresh pineapple juice, and cold water throughout the experience. Once the cooking class began, she provided us with courteous instructions and guidance, allowing us to appreciate every ingredient. Her warmth and enthusiasm was genuine and she cared deeply about our culinary experience. After all the cooking, we enjoyed each dish and the flavors were great. Definitely the best Molé I’ve ever had. I highly recommend her!!

We took the México on a Plate cooking class in Puerto Escondido today and it was a highlight of our trip! Jasmine was an absolutely wonderful instructor — so patient and warm with our kids, making sure everyone felt included and had fun in the kitchen. She clearly loves what she does and it shows in how she teaches. The food we made was incredible, full of authentic flavor and technique. If you’re visiting Puerto Escondido, this is a must-do experience.

We had the best time at this cooking class! It was one-on-one, hands-on experience, which made it feel so personal and interactive. Our instructor was absolutely wonderful—patient & knowledgeable . We learned so much while making delicious traditional dishes, and every step was explained clearly. Everything was well organized, and the food turned out amazing, make see you arrive with an appetite. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable experience!

I went alone, but there were seven other people attending so we became a group of 8. Jasmin was immediatly friendly and welcoming, so that quickly all 8 of us felt comfortable and became friends. The event was fun and social as we joked and had fun while Jasmin took us through a few different courses. The event was fun, but if I was to give constructive criticism it would be that some of the dishes she taught us were dependent on Mexican ingredients. For example, we made tacos (or tortadas?) with Oaxacan cheese and this salty Mexican greese sauce. Now, both the Mexican cheese and the greese sauce were delicious, but neither are ingredients I would find in my part of the world. As such it felt more like a 'discover Mexican tastes' course than a 'learn how to cook Mexican dishes'-course. In sum, if Jasmin could make it slightly more practical and instructive than I would have benefitted more from it. All in all though it was a fun experience and what I took away from it was how to make a good salsa. Dona Rosa

Great cooking class with Jazmin. We did it with kids 10, 12 and 15 years old and they had a good time. The recipes were really delicious and was a great hands-on experience. Make sure you show up with an appetite! The ceviche tostadas were especially tasty and one of the kids even cooked it again the very next night. We reached out directly to Jazmin to book and she was very responsive and kind.

Very nice experience? The welcome, the professionalism, the kindness, everything was there! It was delicious. Jasmine introduced us to typical Mexican recipes.
