Visitaremos o mercado flutuante mais famoso da Tailândia: Damnoen Saduak. Na chegada, você embarcará em um tradicional barco de cauda longa para um passeio pelos canais, oferecendo um vislumbre da vida ao longo das vias navegáveis. O canal Damnoen Saduak foi encomendado em 1866 pelo rei Rama IV para conectar os rios Mae Klong e Tha Chin e melhorar o transporte de água entre as províncias de Ratchaburi e Samut Sakhon. Fotos deste mercado colorido e movimentado estão entre as mais amplamente apresentadas em brochuras de viagens sobre a Tailândia. Embora o mercado hoje atenda em grande parte aos turistas, ainda oferece uma experiência inesquecível com sua atmosfera animada, barcos e cenas de canais. Passearemos pelo mercado e veremos o trem chegar ou partir antes de voltar para Banguecoque. O tempo total gasto aqui inclui o tempo de viagem entre Damnoen Saduak e Maeklong Railway Market e de Maeklong Railway Market de volta a Banguecoque (cerca de 1,5 horas - dependendo da situação de trânsito).
Wat Bang Kung é famoso por sua pequena capela completamente cercada pelas raízes de uma figueira chamada Bot Prok Po. É quase como se a própria árvore fosse os pilares do templo e que sem as raízes a capela desabaria. Você também pode entrar para prestar homenagem à imagem de Buda. We had the BEST tour guide ever! Her name is Kitty, like Hello Kitty. She treated us so well and went above and beyond so we could have a great time. She made sure my family and I took all the pictures we wanted and guided us safely through every place we visited. Kitty deserves an award honestly. This was a visit to the floating market and railway market. We were very lucky that there were only the two of us on trip, so we had the exclusive services of Paul, our guide and Maue our lady driver. Apologies if I got the spelling wrong. I visited the floating market 40 years ago when it was an actual working market and was surprised to see that now it's purely a tourist attraction and the only things on sale were souvenirs. Having said that, I suppose it's great that they managed to preserve it in some form and it's very pleasant to take a boat trip through the market stores which last time wasn't really possible. Paul was a brilliant guide. He was very cheerful, very funny, full of energy and we exchanged some interesting stories with him. The driving was also perfect. We did get to see a couple of other things which was very nice, a tree which had grown into a 400-year-old monastery building covering it with roots and branches. Also a seafood fish market. The train thing was okay but much like others I have seen in Hanoi. Expensive restaurants on the side of the tracks while you wait for a train to come past. Only downside is it's a bit of a long trek to and from, about an hour and a half each way but the car was very comfortable and air-conditioned

It was a little hard to find the location to meet but our guide was very good and guided us to the meeting place . Our guide explained everything to us and was very good . I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to travel around Bangkok. Both our guide and driver was very friendly

The floating market was a fun experience overall and while touristy, still recommended. However, my biggest criticism was the local tour operator really diminished the experience. To me, the whole experience was very rushed, and while I appreciated visiting a couple of sites outside of Bangkok, we did not have enough time to explore the market; I felt rushed the entire time and really could have used some time to lazily browse or get something to eat. Instead I was put on a strict clock to return within 40 minutes to return to Bangkok. Furthermore, our tour guide did not really offer much in the way of history or culture, in fact he slept in the car on the way back to Bangkok. In the end it felt more like transportation to some sites with a compressed timeline. I would likely rent a car and make my own trip to the markets outside of Bangkok on my next trip.
