A lovely 2 hours on the water Captain Chris was accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. We were lucky enough to see a large pod of seals.
We booked last minute and our guide was so accommodating! We ended up with a personalized tour. Well worth the money and very entertaining for kids as well! Thanks for being a highlight while we were in Pictou!
Had a wonderful morning out on the boat with Capt. Chris. Was very knowledgeable about the area, got to see some seals and other wildlife. It was great.
Chris is very knowledgeable and personable. He filled us in on the rich history of the Pictou area and found us a pod of seals.
The operator didn't turn up at the designated place or time. We waited for over an hour, tried to call him but he doesn't take voice mails and suggested communication by text. We tried that and the response was to tell us that he and the boat were on their way. When we requested an ETA, the text was ignored. Later, when we checked emails he advised us that he was late and would be at a different location. But, by then it was too late and we canceled. (By the way, we appeared to be the only people waiting for the tour!) Our rental host said she wished we'd told her we were going to book the tour because she had several cancellations from him over a two year period.
Hi Eric, Yes there was a mis-communication with your booking and we are very sorry for any mis-communication. I was on the ocean with another group that had a handicap client. I was trying to get in touch with you while we were on the boat. The phone number you gave on the booking was an international number and we were unable to call or text you. We did email you to say we were on the way. You texted me that you were at the incorrect meeting place. The town just moved all commercial vessels down 2 blocks. We tried communicating that to you. On e the boat arrived I ran down the 2 bl9cks to try to find you and you messaged me that you left 2 min after i started looking for you. I refunded you in full. We waited on the dock an extra 2 hrs for youin case youwanted to come down to the boat. As far as cancelations. Yes. We only go out on safe water and nice weather. This means 50% of all boat tours require safety first and require cancellationand refund. Eric, I am truly sorry for the miscommunication and having you wait for 1 hour. I knew you were on shore waiting for us and we needed to deal with the current passenger issue. Eric. Your next boat tour is free for you and your family on our family boat if would like to reconsider. Please reconsider a 1 star to a 2 star as we did our best and gave you full refund. We hope you enjoyed our little town while you were in the area. Boat tours on the Atlantic Ocean are not as simple as most transportation and times get varied based on tides, winds, and passenger. Eric, We truly hope you have a great holiday and wish you all the best. Please be patient with small boat operators as we are trying our best to keep everyone safe and happy. All the best. This was an excellent tour that not only showed us a huge family of seals but also a tour of the local area. Captain Chris's boat is very comfortable and he is a knowledgeable local tour guide!! My kids had a blast and so did my husband and I! Highly recommend.

So many seals and birds. Comfortable boat. Great Captain offering lots of history of the area, some nice music, and was funny making for a fun family hour and a half on the water!

We were driving through Nova Scotia and wanted a Nova Scotia experience and this was great. Captain Chris was fantastic. Loads of interesting information and loved seeing the seals

Caption Chris went above and beyond. Checking in with a phone call the morning of the tour to make sure we knew where to meet. The tour was very fun, and educational for the Pictou area. It was amazing.
was a very enjoyable trip. Chris tells a little about the places you pass. and some history of Pictou, went on thurs Aug 3rd and was very worth the 90 minute tour
