Esta é uma visita guiada organizada a uma fazenda de café familiar em uma área urbana próxima ao centro da cidade, onde você poderá acompanhar todo o processo de produção do café, da semente à xícara. Vamos tomar muito café e aprender sobre todo o processo de transformação. O passeio começará na estação de metrô San Antonio; de lá, pegaremos um bonde por 20 minutos até a estação Oriente, onde embarcaremos em um teleférico para um passeio de 15 minutos, apreciando as vistas panorâmicas da cidade. Em seguida, chegaremos ao bairro La Sierra, localizado na Comuna 8, onde faremos uma caminhada de 20 minutos e subiremos alguns degraus, já que a fazenda está situada em uma área operária. Lá, aprenderemos sobre a história de transformação e a cultura dessa comunidade. Depois, chegaremos à fazenda, onde a família produtora de café estará esperando para compartilhar sua história de vida e explicar praticamente todos os processos necessários para a produção do café.

Subiremos no teleférico para chegar à fazenda de café onde teremos uma vista panorâmica da cidade de Medellín.
Embarcaremos no bonde Ayacucho para ir até a comuna 8, durante o trajeto o guia explicará a história da região por onde passa o trajeto do bonde.
Chegaremos ao bairro La Sierra localizado na comuna 8 onde faremos um passeio, no qual será explicada a história e a transformação desta área. Enquanto caminhamos visitaremos mirantes onde teremos uma esplêndida vista da cidade de. Medellín da parte centro-leste e apreciaremos os murais e sua história
Chegaremos à Casa Finca no Bairro la Sierra onde a família cafeicultora estará esperando por você, aqui você será recebido, receberá a primeira xícara de café e a família contará a história de vida e como começaram com o tema das lavouras de café, para então passar a emprestar-lhes o traje típico da região para irem às plantações de café colher frutos vermelhos de café e ensinar-lhes de forma prática todos os processos para fazer um bom café desde como é plantado, colhido, fermentado , seco e torrado.

A highly recommended experience in Medellín. You see how coffee is made, you taste it, and you visit a coffee farm high up on the mountain. The guide ANNIE was the best part of the tour.
This was an excelllent half day tour! Melissa was very sweet and knowledgeable, and she took extra time to repeat every detail in both English and Spanish. In my group there was a mix of coffee lovers and non-coffee lovers; athletes and non-athletes. The tour was interesting, safe and enjoyable enough for everyone. Hopefully my starbucks-dark-roast-drinking family saw the light in locally sourced, gently roasted coffee. I certainly did!
I loved everything about this tour. Annie was amazing! This tour felt relaxed, educational, interactive and peaceful. I am happy to have this experience and its all thanks to the team.
This checked off so many things we wanted to do in one tour! We got to do coffee, ride the local train, ride the sky cart tram thing, and safely walk through a local town and hear about the history of it. We didn't realize that our group as a whole wanted to experience a local town outside of the city. This was perfect because we weren't aimlessly meandering the town, we had to get from point A to B but we did it casually and it wasn't too much or too little "talking" and "instruction". We walked past everyday life happening as the church let out, we saw families doing their normal routines, and we got to feel the surrealness as we picked coffee beans on the side of a gorgeous, quiet, breezy mountain. All while dressed and geared up as true colombians. It hits the soul! Book it!
This was my favorite tour in Medellin. It was informative, the group size was not too big, the coffee was great, and it supported the local community.
My tour guide was Anna. She was very professional, and knowledgeable. I learned so much about coffee I do not drink, but serve to the public. I get to return home with this wonderful information. Thanks for making it interesting.
Really such a great experience! Melissa, the tour guide, was incredible… and Somehow seeing how coffee is really made makes it taste better🤷🏼♀️ do the afternoon visit and spend some time browsing around the San Antonio park and station before rush hour!
It was better than l could have asked for. Appreciated the metro and the gondola ride and the tour of the neighborhood in Communa 8. Then the coffee picking and explanation by Rosa was nothing short of amazing. Thanks for the terrific day. Worth every penny.
We were a small group of 4 people. It felt personalized, and the explanations about places, processes, and stories were very good. It was a very connecting experience with history, and it felt very familiar.
Our guide Annie was amazing! Thanks for her intelligence and humor this experience was incredible! Medellin is incredible from that point and coffee farm and its hosts were very interesting 👍🏻
