I had an outstanding experience with a private English-speaking guide in Medellín last week. From the moment Daniel picked me up, the day was seamless, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. He drove me comfortably to the several key sites, including the museums downtown, the castle (El Castillo Museo), and the botanical garden (paid extra), providing thoughtful context and history at each stop. What really set the experience apart, however, was his ability to show me parts of downtown Medellín that I never would have seen. These weren’t tourist highlights—they were authentic, eye-opening glimpses into the city’s culture and daily life. Just as important, his genuine fondness for and pride in Medellín came through in everything he shared. He wasn’t just guiding—he was inviting me into his world, engaging me in meaningful conversation and helping me understand the city through a local’s eyes. I highly recommend this tour. Daniel was a fantastic guide. Great historian and conversationalist. His first hand experience growing up in Medellin gave us invaluable insight into the culture of this wonderful city. It was a great day. We had fun, felt safe, learned a lot, and generally enjoyed ourselves. Boterro’s art was fascinating.., both inside and outside the museum. El Castillo Museo y Jardines was excellent. Our tour guide there was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
This trip is definitely a must since tourists and locals alike can learn about the rich history of Colombia and appreciate the fine arts. David was amazing as a tour guide and made the whole trip comfortable and welcoming.

Had a wonderful trip to the museum and city. My guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We rode by car through Poblado to the station and then took public transportation to various museums.

Even though tour is by private car, due to national riots that day we managed to use the best available transportation in order to get around the city smoothly and safe, therefore the metro.
