Master Class Batik com Processo Completo

Such a personalized and immersive experience! There were just the three of us, and i dont think they accommodate much larger groups so its super intimate. We had two cheerful, knowledgeable and engaging young ladies as our coaches, overseen by a master batik artist with decades of experience. They showed us how to apply the wax and color, allowing us to each create our own art. Then they took care of fixing the color and melting the wax, so we could take our creations home with us. We also bought a copluple of beautiful bolts of fabric for later! Highly recommend!

A very enjoyable experience. Our family had a lot of fun doing this. Good explanation and teaching of the process - it is not as easy as it looks when they do it.

I had a truly special experience with Salwa during my batik class near Prambanan. She is incredibly kind, patient, and talented. Even though I was the only participant, she made the whole experience feel personal and meaningful. She guided me gently through the process and helped me with the more difficult parts of the design with such care and dedication. What touched me the most was her warmth and authenticity. This was not just a class, but a beautiful human connection. I created a batik piece that I will treasure forever, not only for the result but for the moment we shared. Thank you, Salwa, for your generosity, your smile, and your beautiful energy. You made this experience unforgettable.

We had a great time with the Batik experience. A nice and relaxing atmosphere that truly catered to our abilities and wishes. A definite must on your trip!

Lovely experience here going through the process of making Batik. Staff were extremely friendly and made the day very enjoyable!

Super recommended local experience with a true batik master. My group thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and it was so worthwhile because we were supporting local artisans with little middlemen. The place is a local home where you get to do the full batik process in a private fashion, with everything explained so well. There were also tea and snacks before the class started. Highly recommend this ahead of other mass tourism workshop as this truly supports a local community. We booked with the main operator (Algalova) who’s also from the village and created these tours to support women empowerment and local enterprises. We will definitely recommend this to others!

The experience was very interesting and relaxing. We were greeted with kindness and courtesy, we were also offered a snack , water, tea and coffee. We chose the design on which to make the batik and performed directly the first two processing steps (the realization of the outline and painting). For the other two phases, by those who followed us, we had all the necessary explanations. In all we spent about 3 hours very pleasant. The place is about 20 minutes walk from Prambanam temple and reachable by car or scooter.

Lovely afternoon activity learning about batik from an expert set in a traditional Indonesian home. We were served yummy snacks. A lovely young student translated and explained everything to us in English. Our host was very warm and kind. It was a perfect experience for my husband and I. Very authentic

+1

This was a very fun family experience (two adults and two 9 year old boys). Our guide was very patient and kept the kids entertained throughout. Great hospitality
