Tahar was a brilliant guide. Really looked after us, helped with our shopping bags (there were lots 😂) and took us to great places. Told us all about the history and culture and helped with the bartering. Thoroughly enjoyable morning, all thanks to Tahar. Would definitely recommend and book again in the future.

Tahar is an excellent guide and a true gentleman. He was punctual and very polite. He communicated with us prior to the trip on WhatsApp and also on the day to find us amongst all the other tourists looking for their guides. (So it's useful to have working data or Wifi.) He gave us information on the history and culture of Marrekesh, but most importantly, he looked after us very well on our first day in Marrekesh. We felt safe and confident having him with us in the souks. He recommended specific places to return to later, and also those to avoid. He advocated well for us on a negotiation to buy a rug, the shop keeper was very respectful of him. (He is also a lawyer.) We had a very enjoyable morning with Tahar and would encourage anyone to book him without hesitation. Thank you, Tahar.

Excellent guide and very accommodating. Our first time in Marrakech and decided a guided tour would be best. We are so happy we did as Tahar turned up on time, very friendly and guided us through the maze of markets. He was very polite and often stopped to ask what we wanted to see next. Tahar was an excellent, patient guide as we toured the souks in the Marrakech Medina. This was our first time and he knew exactly where to take us, especially when your shopping experience can be a little intimidating. We are two girlfriends who learned how to shop for leather, for carpets, oils, beauty secrets at the pharmacy and so much more. Tahar had so much patience, knowledge, experience, and was a joy to walk with throughout our tour. He was always looking out for our safety also. I highly recommend booking this tour with Tahar when you are in Marrakesh. We took his other cultural and informative tour. That was also fantastic to learn about the people of Marrakesh, the history and the sites. Do not miss this tour when you visit Marrakesh or the other tours that Tahar leads.

Everything perfect, culture craftsmanship and curiosity

Don't do the souks alone—go with Tahar! The Ultimate Rug Experience - The highlight of our day was visiting a rug gallery that Tahar hand-selected. It wasn't just a shop; it was a cultural masterclass. The men there weren't "salesmen" in the traditional sense; they were true entertainers who made the history of the craft come alive. They sell on consignment on behalf of the Berber women from the Atlas Mountains. We walked in with zero intention of buying, but the rugs were so stunning and the atmosphere was so welcoming that our entire group ended up walking away with a piece of Moroccan art. We happily have the rugs in our homes in the US. Note, they ship the rugs for free! Expert Bargaining and Hidden Gems - Tahar also led us to an incredible leather shop where the quality was unmatched. I walked away with a beautiful, custom-feeling suede jacket that I absolutely love. You cannot find the right stores or negotiate the souks effectively without someone like Tahar. Tahar acted as our shield and our advocate; he knew exactly where to go for quality, how to weed out the "tourist junk," and most importantly, how to secure prices we never could have gotten on our own.

It was a lovely, enlightening and memorable experience, and more because we had Tahar who was very knowledgeable, patient and kindly showed us many places of interest.
